Cheap prices shouldn’t mean crappy quality and service. This place has low prices and expectations shouldn’t be high, but food and service should at least be decent. That wasn’t the case with us. Our party of 4 ordered two appys to share, and they weren’t anything special. Poutine tasted too salty in my opinion. I ordered the grilled chicken baguette and it was absolute crap. The baguette seemed under-baked; it was bleach white and the mayonnaise only added texture to it, no flavour. The pizza bread was bland. This would all be okay because it was all cheap, if everything else was okay. But service wasn’t the best. She had this attitude that made you feel bad for asking for anything, and didn’t care for what you wanted. I’ve been to places with even lower prices, better food, and better service. I’m sticking to those places from now on.
I am never going back here. Last Wednesday night was my last time going. The food was decent considering the price. Not complaining about that. The service was absolutely terrible. The blonde waitress was unfriendly the entire time we were there. And when it came to paying my bill, I gave her $40.45 for my $33.45 bill. She shortchanged me by $6 and then she realized her mistake and fixed it but still shortchanged me again 50 cents. Service was already included in the bill so I would’ve just left the 50 cents alone but she was so unfriendly that I wanted my money back. I told her she shortchanged me and she took out her change, started to count it and then gave up and slapped her change into my hand. She dropped some on the ground and said something rude, telling me to take it and walked off. Absolutely unprofessional. So if you just want a cheap eat go here, but don’t expect any good service whatsoever.
Great food for cheap!! Impressed! Nice to see value for your dollar still exists!!
I love this place! Great place to watch a hockey game, have some beers and snacks. The items I’ve tried are: the pesto chicken wrap, the pierogies, the southwestern chicken salad and the fish tacos. I love all of them. The fries are a little salty, but the beer can help you with that 😉
I’m unable to name say one time I went there and the food or service was bad. The atmosphere is carefree, the staff was friendly and I could eat the all-you can eat Perogies every day.
You Get What You Pay For. Food was good considering the price, but it did take long for the food to get to the table. Very casual atmosphere, nothing fancy by any means. If you’re looking for a cheap sit-down on Granville, I’d recommend The Factory.
I like!. Food specials yes they’re amazing. I had a burger (I wish I could remember its name!) it had a bacon aioli which was great, and the usual toppings on it, it was the perfect late night size, and the fries were good and salty too. The Lazy Lager was good and all reasonably priced, I like this joint. Only negative is this place is intensely loud, hopefully everyone at your table is yelling otherwise you could have a hard time hearing them and you’ll just be sipping your drink nodding, with a half wit smile planted on your face, or maybe that’s just me.
