Tried Greek cuisine for the first time and at this place. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Visited this place with the family. We were 5 of us. We ordered the Lentil salad which was really delicious, the flavors were amazing. We then tried the Saganaki (cheese), this was something we had never tried before, was good too, something different so do give it a try. We also had the Ianis prawns and lamb chops which were flavorful and very juicy. We had also ordered for the Country lamb platter, this was amazing and dont miss out on this, the lamb was so tender and the meat just fell off the bone. By this time we were stuffed to the max. Had the sangria too, was amazing. Service was really quick even though the were packed that evening. Looks like the place is blessed with amazing chefs n staff. Would surely visit again. P.S: couldnt take pics of all the food as we hogged it before we even realized

Friends and I have always wanted to try this place. Was a tad disappointed they didn’t take reservations on a Friday night but suppose its normal considering its Yaletown and there is a lot of traffic. We did a walk-in anyways and was seated on the patio. Server was friendly and welcoming. She made sure our questions about the menu were answered. They focus more on family style dining so that was great to know. Their cocktails were delish. Loved the Sangria. Food for the most part was delicious. Flavourful and hot food came hot. Calamari was not too soft with a light crunch and pita bread was warm with a great chew. Shared the skewer combo plate with my husband and that was plenty. Loved how they incorporated corn and beets in their vegetable medley. Kreatopita was interesting. Like a meat pie in phyllo dough crust that looked like a bagel. Was tasty! Was not impressed with the male staff that delivered our food though. He just came by and put food wherever on the table..not friendly at all..perhaps he was having a bad day..but hey, don’t take it out on your customers. Will I come back? Maybe. Enjoyed the patio scene..might be a great summer lunch spot.
If I wanted to be jammed in a place with club music so loud you can’t talk and shoulder to shoulder people while eating some half decent greek food I would go to Aura and sneak in some Donair dude (Not a rip against Aura, they do a great job and after spending 2 hours at Anatoli’s I think they’re really missing out on a niche market.) The service was commendable for how busy it was, the food was mediocre at best and certainly not worth the price. That being said they do have a good retsina and Mosakka was terrific. But It’s hard to enjoy when you have some one who’s 6 1$ off Margaritas too deep half hanging off your table. Maybe better other nights, but don’t over pack your restaurant way past capacity.
