Visited in June , The place had a great atmosphere – busy and loud and got busier and louder as the night progressed. Service was prompt and friendly, The menu offers great value for money and the cheapness doesn’t effect the quality – we’ve paid more and enjoyed it less at other places. My husband commented that the burger was one of the best he’d had, and the turkey club was also tasty. We had a couple of drinks and the overall bill was still very reasonable. If you’re looking for a quiet drink – then this isn’t the place to go, but it provides a lively atmosphere and value for money for a quick bite to eat.

First you must understand the nature of this place. It is a cheap eats and pricey drinks joint. Don’t go here for dinner. Go for a snack and a drink then move on. Try the ribs. They are hands down the best in town. Memphis Blue could use some lessons from the moose on ribs. Ribs and a beer and you will be in a good place. If you are still peckish try the moose balls, not too many, share the order with at least one other person. Then leave. Also try not to worry about the service or the decor, that’s not why you are there.

First day in the city, (from Ontario) and was a cool find for a quick bite to eat. Service was polite and quick, food was decent for the price. Beer, always nice and cold.

Thiefs!, Everything was great until I asked if I could buy shots for all the employees and they said that principally they are not allowed to drink, but they will join me after they close, so they charged me for 7 shots (1 for myself, and 6 for the employees). I also left them a 30% tip for all the bill. After about 15 minutes they said they are closed and told me to leave, not even giving me my drink or a refund, claiming that I insisted to pay for drinks for everyone although they said they are not allowed to. All the employees, including the manager, saw this happening and knew this was wrong, and they didn’t give a shit. This is the most disgusting behavior I’ve ever seen towards a customer. They just stole my money. I hope that one day a local customer (and not a tourist like me) gets ripped off the same way so he’ll be able to sue them for this.

I have been here in the past and I came here again last night for a couple beers and some food. I got the grilled salmon entree. It was pretty good! Good service too. Once again, this is one of the $4.95 restaurants. Same quality as the rest and you can expect to be satisfied with it.

Love the food and you can’t beat the price! The pulled pork is my go-to (minus the coleslaw). I get them to use their honey bbq sauce on it which is amaaaazing.

Great chicken wings! I would eat here again. It was my Tuesday nights hangout while I was living in Vancouver. The waitress is very cute and friendly.
