Do NOT eat at this place! My friends and I got horrible food poisoning after eating here on a Saturday evening. Will never ever eat here again!Plenty of late night options in the area. Save your self the trouble and skip Tsui Hang.
The food came really quickly but was really bad. It’s all westernized Chinese food. But this is one of the few places that open until 3am on Fri and Sat.
I do NOT recommend this place if you know your Chinese food well.I could understand how late night clubbers would enjoy the food after partying but that’s probably the only time I would visit again myself.
I will NEVER order from this restaurant again. Shortly after ordering, they called me back to ask me if I was going to pay cash. I asked if the driver would have change. They said he would. The food was 15 minutes late, (which I can forgive). However after being late and reeking of cigarettes the driver asked me if he could give himself a 10 dollar tip, since… WAIT FOR IT.. he didn’t bring change with him. so I asked him if he had anything smaller, which he did, however it seems that it was not convenient for the driver (as he probably wanted a bigger tip). I thought it was the drivers responsibility to bring the change. can anybody tell me why they think at this restaurant that you should tip them 10 dollars for a 30 dollar meal???
For late night after-hours clubbers this place gets your chinese fix on. Can’t go wrong with the simple Cantonese items. July 21 2016:Not sure about the consistency. Quality and service went sour. I’m gonna have to drop the rating
Don’t come here.. Upon arriving at the restaurant at 2:45 am, we were greeted at the door and was seated right away. The restaurant was busy but they came to us right away to take our order. We ordered the sauteed squid, sweet and sour pork, and the house special chow mein.Everything seemed to go smoothly, we got our first course which was the squid and it was ok, but could be better. Then right away we got our bill……..We haven’t even received our other two courses and they already sent us the bill. I called one of the waiters and I explained to him that we have not gotten our food yet and he apologized and took the bill away.We then waited for about 10-15 minutes…..drinking cold tea…..and no sign of our other orders.I called one of the waiters and I told him that we have been waiting for 10-15 minutes and we haven’t gotten our other courses yet and that we received the bill way before we got our courses. I then told him that we would like our courses or we are just going to take the bill of the squid and leave. He ran into the kitchen and we didn’t hear from him for a bit. He then came with the bill of the squid that we bought. It was not worth the $18.00 of the most horrible customer service and satisfactory food.Need less to say, we are never returning to this establishment and will be spreading the word of the horrible customer service and satisfactory food. You can do way better with other restaurants in the area.
Food was so so, small portion fried rice, be sure to check your bill!. My husband got $300 gift certificates for this place so that’s why we ventured out to try this place. Otherwise, probably would never try this place as we are real Chinese and not sure if this place offers Chinese food for Caucasians only. Also we have lots of places to try in Richmond already. Well $100 only got us 7 dishes. The west lake beef soup is decent; the ginger beef onion pot was too salty; the scallop egg white fried rice is expensive and the portion is very small, also the fried rice is not very good; the shanghai fried noodles are not good either, way too soft! The sweet and sour fish fillet is so so for me but it is good for my Caucasion husband; the veggies with scallops is very expensive almost $20 but very small dish and it’s not whole scallops but shredded scallops, The peking duck with lettuce wrap is fine but the lettuce doesn’t look very fresh and they only gave you a few pieces. The service is okay but they wouldn’t let us use $300 at one time so we will have to come back two more times to finish the coupons. Also I read the reviews beforehand and 2 people said watch for the bill as some food may not arrive your table but arrive your bill also the addition of the bill is wrong sometimes. It is strange that the bill they gave me only had a total and it’s like $115 and I asked for a breakdown of the dishes so they did and came back with $10 less and they whited out $115 and changed to $105. I didn’t want to call them out as I will be back again but anyways just be careful with their bill.
