came here with friends on a weekday, we seated around 6:15pm, Tony came and greeted us and reminded us that the there are still time to order off the HH menu, so we ask the manager to decided for us. we had a good time there, the food was excellent.
came here during lunch special on weekdays, and the food, was average, i ordered green curry with beef, and definitely was something along that i had in mind, price wise was around $15 ish with tips and tax, other than that the savoury of the curry was brought out, the sweetness of coconut extract was there as well by a bit, and the beef was soft and tender. overall it’s a decent meal for lunch special. might try their dinner next time mangkr.wordpress.com
Food is not fresh, pad thai taste sweet only. Curry tastes sweet. Im suprise the water is not sweet. There is only 1 flavor in all the dishes
My experience with this restaurant has been super super frustrating. My boyfriend I order from here take out all the time and don’t get me wrong… the food is delicious IF YOU GET YOUR CORRECT ORDER. I alternate between my two favourites, Veggie/ Tofu Red Curry Extra Spicy or Tom Yum Extra Spicy. Out of the 5 last times I have ordered the Tom Yum Soup it has been correct once. For some reason 3 times IN A ROW I received Tom Kha instead of Tom Yum. I am usually frustrated at this point because I’m hangry and its not cheap. Every time I go through the same routine. I call the restaurant explain the situation and they send out the correct food or tell me to come at a later day and get my soup. I get it, sh*t happens. But it seems ridiculous that 3 times in a row this mistake can be made, especially as I am very very thorough in explaining my order in a clear and concise way and making sure it is repeated back correctly. The two times I have ordered the Red Curry I have asked for it Extra Spicy with heavy emphasis on the extra spice (I love me some spice). The first time it arrives with literally no spice what so ever, which is not to my taste because I find then its too sweet plus its just not what I ordered. The second time I ordered it (Last night) The curries were mislabeled. Mine is veggie and my boyfriends is chicken.. No big deal really. But my boyfriend had already dumped my curry all over his heaping portion of rice so thats unfortunate.. I take a bite of my curry and again no spice at all! Literally. My boyfriend has no spice tolerance what so ever and he even said to him it was mild and sweet..I just don’t get it. It’s $50 for two curries and rice and every time its not correct. It’s really frustrating because there food is good but its almost never been correct. I guess I am a slow learner. I can safely say I will never order from there again now..
Although I told them to make my food spicy, it wasn’t very spicy at all.I did enjoy how the food is plated and the flavors it had even without the spiciness. Loved their pad thai and their curries. However, I think they tend to overcook their food, the satays we got were dry and the meat in the curry was also pretty dry. The flavors are good though. Drinks are also delicious and beautiful. Nice place to bring family and for groups. One of the better Thai food options in the area.
