This is a poor place. If you are gambler or even if you want to have fun, do not go this place. Winning chance is not even 5%. I am going this for more than two years and I have spent about 100 thousand dollars at all. Never jackpot more than once in few months with amount of 2-3 hundred dollars!After playing, if you want go to toilet, or wash your hand, cannot find soap on this please!Means just come here give your money and go home!!
Vastly exceeded expectations!. I was a bit skeptical of this place based on the negative reviews on here, but I loved it! My wife and I went for the Tuesday pasta buffet and it was amazing. First of all, it’s $9. For a $9 buffet, I wasn’t expecting much. But rather than having a big bowl of pasta laid out on a buffet table as I was expecting, they had 2 cooks prepare it on demand for you. The ingredients were varied and very fresh (bacon, sausage, chicken, and prawns for meat, with a bunch of veggies and other things) and the cooks did a fantastic job of it. On top of that, they had some salads and desert. So to recap: $9 for salad, on-demand fresh pasta, and desert. An amazing deal for very good food.Now, I will say that I felt the pasta sauce was serviceable, but not the greatest. And in my opinion if you want the best pasta, there’s no beating Anton’s in Burnaby. But again, for a $9 buffet, you probably can’t go in expecting world class cuisine.I highly recommend this place (or at least the pasta buffet, I have yet to try anything else) and I can’t imagine anyone coming away dissatisfied based on what I experienced tonight.
Always enjoy it. I go for lunch often, and sometimes dinner. Always enjoy the food, the staff is always helpful, and the Manager Marty is the best and treats everyone with respect. $5 breakfast on the weekends can’t be beat. I recommend it fully.
100% dissapointed. Went for a friends birthday dinner on a Saturday night. The waitress screwed up most of the orders despite writing it down. My food was brought to me after everyone else had already finished their meal despite ordering at the same time. I actually had to ask the waitress if my food was almost ready and she gave me the most confused face like I was crazy. Ended up asking to speak to the manager (have never done this in my life.) His name was Marty and was fantastic and did everything he could to make the experience better by comping mine and my fiances meals. I appreciate the gesture but I don’t think I will ever return due to poor service and over priced, OK food.
Extremely disappointed.. Went here on a Sunday night for dinner. There was 2 other tables not including ours there and 1 server who also served as the bartender. After ordering our meals, we did not receive them until 45 minutes later and the food was cold. Would not go here again. Understaffed – the server also ran the bar and filled orders for the casino floor
No Thanks!. I went to order from the well and to my surprise they changed their menu. There are only 2 vegetarian dishes on the old menu that I liked and now one is gone. I am not one bit happy about it! Yes The Well restaurant you lost another customer. I will also let all of my vegetarian friends their favorite dish is no longer on the menu!
First visit, great experience.. I met some friends for dinner at The Well last evening. Food was good and very fresh. My burger was perfectly cooked and the fries were incredible. The service was the best I have had in a long time. I will definitely be going back. Judging from the other posts, I am assuming the restaurant was going through some growing pains as it is new to the area. Based on my experience I would say they have things worked out.
