Mrs. Hitter grew up on this pizza and we still eat it when we want above-average takeout/delivery pizza in St.James. The crust is on the thinner side and toppings go right to the edge. The cheese is very generous unlike lower quality pizza chains. Agreed with the previous reviewer who says that toppings have become somewhat sparser in recent years. Pizza is always hot, fresh and ready in a reasonable time. It’s not cheap but but worth the price if you’re wanting something better and cheesier than the local budget chains.
Ive been getting pizza here for the past 2 years. between here and main i always thought portage was the better place however recently pizza from the portage location have varied to having fewer toppings to less cheese. even on extra cheese it seems to have been less but their prices have went up. even overall look of the pizza has been low. get it back to par is all i have to say
this is a late review. i have ordered here many times before. however the last couple weeks have been a mess. 3 weeks ago they forgot my order, the week after that they made mistake on my pizza, and then this week my pizza looked burnt. i am usually not one to comment but this has got to be the worst pizza shop in winnipeg
The pizza here was not that bad, in a classic ewwy gooey cheese kind of way. One very interesting feature is the ability to add Filipino ingredients, never tried it on Pizza before (and immediately discovered why) I’d advise sticking to the classics here. They do a good enough job on those.
i have been ordering from pizzaland on portage ave for about 20 years and have enjoyed the everytime. the staff are great and chris is always friendly and greets you by your name when you walk in. i can see pizzaland easily being around another 25 years. thanks for the great zah.
Love getting our pizza hot as we always do from here. Have ordered dozens of times and only one time a driver was kind of late and our pizza wasn’t super hot. Nonetheless, it was still delicious. Usually order Suzie’s Special and another combo. Prefer regular or thin crust but their regular is actually as thin as some other thin crusts. I recommend extra sauce but that’s just us. Great toppings…our fave pizza place.
It’s the best pizza ever! It’s perfect every time! I’m never disappointed:) I recommended their pizza to all my friends! And their wings r fantastic!!!
