The buffet has a lot of options, both vegetarian and meat. It is only slightly spiced. A little more flavour would be nice. They have recently done some renovations. The service is friendly. Will definitely be back.
Went here on recommendation while visiting Brandon from Winnipeg. Came specifically for the buffet (Saturday evening) and loved it. The Buffet was about $13 and had many options for both vegetarian and omnivores. Everything I had was extremely tasty; I just wish I had a larger stomach that I could enjoy more of the options offered. The interior of the restuarant seemed like it needed to be updated; the booth I sat in the seats were extremely uncomfortable.
We came here on a Friday night for dinner and the restaurant was fairly busy. We waited for a few minutes after we were seated and the server did not bring us menus. When we asked, she indicated that they have a buffet and implied that we should try it. So we did. The buffet has a good variety of dishes, and most are very tasty. I would prefer if the injera was warm. The beef stew dish was delicious. I would come back here for sure.
I absolutely love this place. I try to eat here at least once per week. Easily my favourite restaurant in the city and the service is amazing. Highly recommend it.
Simple setting, friendly service, great food. Loved the multiple tastes and well presented and prepared dishes. Will definitely return many times for this treat!
Very tasty identifiable whole foods. Friendly congenial owners. Nice decor with authentic Ethiopian items. Highly reccomend trying this cuisine.
