BEST Macaron in town My f…. BEST Macaron in townMy friend and I went to Jejomar Bakeshop last weekend to try their macaron and we were surprisingly amazed at all the flavors they had. We tried the oreo cheesecake, vanilla cheesecake, pistachio, caramel and taro….so soft and delightfully chewy. They were very helpful and good service. We will be back again!
French Macarons~. I went here today to finally try their macarons. I’ve been to 3 different places in Winnipeg that sells french macarons and I gotta say, Jejomar Bakery is probably my favourite! Their macarons sell for $1.25 for a pretty big macaron. I’ve been to A L’epi de ble ($1.30 for a small macaron), they have really good macarons but it is very small! I’ve also been to Tea Story, which had really big macarons for $2.. but the macaron cookies were very stale. Con: The place was a bit scary for me and when I got there, they were out of Oreo, which was a flavour i really wanted to try ):Nevertheless, the macarons were very good! If you are looking for a good place to buy macarons, I recommend Jejomar Bakery! (:
It was my first time going to this bakery, the people that worked there were very friendly and helpful. I had bought some fresh sweet buns – super soft in the inside and crunchy on the out YUM!I’ve been to other bakeries and have tasted their tiny macarons for $2. This bakery had alot of favors, alot bigger & alot cheaper. They were SO GOOD. my fav would be Oreo, red velvet, chocolate, coconut, creme brulee and pistachio. I would definitely come back
Macarons!. Don’t let the location scare you into coming here. This place sells macarons for the cheapest price ($1.25 per macaron), bigger portion, and a variety of flavours. They taste really delicious compared to the macaron shops I’ve tried in Winnipeg (which there are only two for now I believe) and some shops I’ve tried elsewhere. The texture is so good – it’s got a nice firmness to it, but softness as well.I’ve been fortunate to try all the flavours because they were almost sold out when I got here. :PMy favourite is the chocolate hazelnut and the red velvet cake. Off the top of my head there is lemon, peanut butter and jelly, matcha red bean, strawberry, chocolate, chocolate hazelnut, chocolate walnut, pistachio, red velvet cake, ube (taro), oreo… They also sell pan de sal, spanish bread, ube bread, sweet loaf bread, and other tasty baked goods – since this is a Filipino bakery after all.
Terrible,no atmosphere very generic dishes, this type of cuisine can be had at Extra Foods!
Maybe the wrong time of day ??. I stopped by this place a while ago and I got to say it was awful, I found there pastry very dry, tasteless and very little filling.
