Won’t be going back. I tried their pork vermicelli, and it’s hands down the worst I’ve ever had. The pork was chewy, and some parts I had spit out. Not a very good variety of vegetables.

Our favorite place. When i worked at Hugh John MacDonald school, years ago, this was a favorite place for Friday lunch. I now bring my adult children there on special occasions. The deluxe vermicelli is awesome, crispy spring rolls and lots of BBQ pork. We love the hot and sour soup and the deluxe fried rice…and the salad rolls are also a family favorite. The peanut sauce is awesome.Never have I had an issue with service, staff is friendly and welcoming. We love the place.

Revolting food. Really bad. Viscous food with too much corn starch or something. Skimpy on protein. Greasy. Service is ok.

Pho wasn’t the best one and suck in making bubble tea. After doing my grocery at Young’s market on William ave, a friend craved for bubble tea. We decided to go to Little Saigon and shared pho. Both of us love pho and have tried some different places. Not too happy with the pho taste. When the bubble tea came, we both were disappointed with the quality of tapioca pearls in the bubble tea. They were very hard to chew and almost inedible to eat. So far I came to conclusion for the best bubble tea I’ve tasted in Winnipeg was Kim Thanh. The variants inside the pho was Kim Thanh, just because it has tendons not just slices of beef, beefballs and tripes. The beefball quality was from Viva. The richest broth was Viva. Light but nice broth was Kim Thanh. Pho Hoang was good too but the beefball quality wasn’t the best. Now I have to recall how Phuong Nam was since I haven’t eaten there for ages.

Good eats and Po-Mo. I find this semi-seedy William Street restaurant to be pleasant and tasty, with just the right amount of laziness. When I say laziness, I mean that all the way from the mismatched dining sets to the under crisped BBQ pork, there is an overwhelming feeling of mediocrity in this seemingly no-care attitude but it truly embraces its real purpose…eating decent grub in a sheltered space. This is not a down side…I find this type of honesty refreshing in an industry that usually tries too hard to brand itself. The mashed up interior is a bit of a beat up open space that is littered with various kitschery. The staff is the opposite of pretentious and there is the standard fish tank to check all the boxes. As always, Sir Omnyvore recommends the deluxe vermicelli bowel. Decent enough and priced right.

Like it – in a limited kind of way. I went here a few times years ago and did not like it at all but returned about 3 years ago and came across 3 dishes we really like so we return for the same 3 dishes about every 3-4 months. The dishes we like are Shrimp/Chicken Chow Mein with crispy noodles, Salt & Spicy Squid and Spring Chicken with Ginger and Sesame Seed Oil. Have not tried anything else due to bad experience when they first opened. If you’re looking for service – this is not the place for you. The food gets ordered, the food comes and the server never comes back. When I’ve been able to get his attention he’s more than willing to help you out. May be a language problem and he’s not comfortable – don’t really know.

Won’t be back!!! The pho had good flavor but I’ve had better. Spring rolls were good. Limited menu options so I will stick with my other favorites on the other side of town.
