Ordered skipthedishes with this restaurant for an office lunch. Large platter of maki and a few extra rolls for 6 people, that fed 6 people perfectly. The large platter could feed 5 people just fine too.I am usually a single ingredient sushi eater, but the platter included a lot of fusion rolls that I typically do not like. However I did enjoy everything I ate despite it not being what I usually like. So that has to say something.The roll sizes seemed to be on the larger side for the given price, so there is a bit of a value add to this place compared to others.
Ordered a few rolls off of Skip. Though they do pack in a decent amount of meat/fish, the flavours were off especially in the chicken teriyaki roll – could be the batter they use. Fish (salmon and tuna) was chewy and had weird texture. I was afraid to get food poisoning so I didn’t finish the raw rolls. All the rolls looked like they were going to be delicious but I was left disappointed
