This place is a bit out of the way but makes for a great stop prior to embarking on a nice long walk along the paths. For a Sunday lunch, the place was quite busy – it took the staff about 30 minutes to get the sandwiches out to us. Luckily on a warm fall day, we were able to sit outside because all the seating inside was full. In the photo is a Reuben sandwich with a side of salad. The sandwich was good – nice balance of meat. What was a bit annoying were all the bugs falling into our food (we are eating outside afterall).
I’m not sure why I was expecting different but with menu items like Bison burger, I was kinda hoping that they would have tried a different take on the buffalo rather than put it in a burger that you can get anywhere. Overall though, this is not a bad place to grab a bite if you’re in the area.
One of the best places for vegetarian/vegan food in the city. Fresh veggies, full of flavour. We had shakshuka (vegan with tofu) and the vegan wrap and a veggie hot & sour soup. All so good.
