This sushi restaurant is awesome. I’ve been coming here for years and the owners and staff are super friendly. The sushi is very good and for the price you pay I’d come here all the time. I went to many different sushi restaurants but for the price you cannot beat sushi ro. Pickup or dine in they do a spectacular job & give a good service. Would definitely recommend it to everybody.

Worst sushi place I have ever set foot in. Walked in and noticed the two small tables and dead environment. Sat down looked at the menu and noticed they did not even have one noodle dish, which I thought was odd for a sushi place. Ordered the assorted tempura and spring rolls to start with. Even after being in the restaurant for over 15 minutes, not once was I offered water or a beverage. Looking around I noticed odd things like a shelf filled with random things like books and kraft dinner boxes just out in the open. Our starters came out and my first bite into the spring rolls was soggy and greasy. It was a regular spring roll that was then battered in tempura. I usually expect spring rolls to be crispy and not soggy with grease, so I did not enjoy that one bit. I then dug into the assorted tempura and found the batter to be very bland!! Was give a super small bowl of tempura sauce and was bot enough for the dish. I then realized the tables didn’t even have basic soya sauce out!! I HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A SUSHI PLACE THAT DID NOT HAVE SOYA SAUCE!! Having no water, no soya sauce, just greasy and bland starts – I payed my bill and looked for another sushi place. It was a very unpleasant experience and I have no idea how this place ever has a rating of over 2.0. Terrible.

the sushi here is poor quality and the rolls were not filled with much meat or vegetables. I do not recommend this place as the price is equal to other places but the quality is much lower.

Accidentally wound up here with a small group and although there were only two tables to seat four each and two bar stools, we had no problem sitting down to eat in the tiny restaurant.Prices were very good and the food was delicious! I have never enjoyed my Aga Dashi tofu more! Pure velvet inside crunchy little cubes. In love. The service wasn’t fantastic but they did seem busy with many pick up orders. They even brought the table spring rolls for free, one per each, and they were battered and deep fried and actually some of the best I’ve ever had.I live on the very opposite side of the city but am seriously talking about going back just for the tofu if nothing else.If you’re in the area, no excuses! This place is great!Edit – Jan/2016Went again for the tofu and was sad that it was very inconsistent. Also, the first time I went I thought there may have been a fryer issue as my eyes started burning within about ten minutes of sitting down but it happened again to both myself and my dining partner. I attended over a week ago and my parka still smells of tempura. I’m a little disappointed and may not make the trek again. Still good sushi, just somewhat disappointed in their continuity.

I’ve been here only twice and this is by far my favourite sushi restaurant!! The owner is so friendly, always smiling, and both times I’ve been (dine in and take out) she has given complimentary drinks and spring rolls. The food is very good and cheap with generous/large fillings. I do agree that it is more a take out place, but you can still dine in. I can’t say anything negative about this place. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend!!!

This place is good, a hidden gem in Charleswood. More of a take-out place but you can dine in, there are like two tables you could potentially sit in and dine at.Prices are reasonable. Cheapest spider roll I’ve seen in the city, for about $5.75 or something like that. Not bad at all, considering their rolls have a great rice-to-filling ratio. The owners are very friendly. The reviews are right – they do give you extra with your takeout order! They’ve given me a free package of spring rolls and 3 canned drinks. The only thing I have to complain about is their miso soup. It’s obviously the kind from the instant packets. They have dried fish cake in there, and not being a stranger to those instant miso soups I could tell right away. Other miso soups in the city don’t have that.

By far the worst Sushi I have ever eaten, and I have been eating Sushi since back when only one sushi restaurant existed in Winnipeg. Had to throw away half the order. Bad rice, bad filling. I asked if they had daikon and he didn’t even know what it was. It is very cheap and very terrible, do not waste your money.
