We went during happy hour, it was busy as usual. The food was ok. Wasn’t the best. But how in the world our bill came up to $140 is beyond me. The food we ate was definitely not worth that much money. Especially for lunch. I don’t think I’ll be coming back. I can find better food with better quality for much lower in price.
Service was super slow, it took us a full hour to get all of our order. And then when we got our food it was really underwhelming. I recommend trying out other dimsum place around the area instead.
Dim Sum Garden is located across from Kum Koon Garden in Chinatown on King St. It is located on the second floor of the building. My family and I go for brunch every Sundays. Dim Sum Garden is our #1 go-to for dim sum. The food is delicious, non-greasy and reasonably priced. If I had to compare Dim Sum Garden with Kum Koon, Dim Sum Garden would win hands down! We found that Kum Koon’s dim sum is mostly filled with deep fried items, hence I always walk out with a greasy stomach. The restaurant has a very tiny parking lot adjacent to the building so don’t even attempt to find a spot there if you’ve decided to go. However, there is always free street parking available on Princess if you go on Sundays.P.S. People dug into the food before I even got a change to capture the picture….
