If you work downtown there is a cafe a city hall called Grace Cafe that mostly no one knows exists. The prices are good, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. Also they are happy to customise your order for you for you ask. I go here for breakfast every morning. Great breakfasts and burgers.

Worst service and least competent staff you will ever encounter. No fresh coffee after 3pm either. Not sure how they can stay in business unless City Hall gives them the space rent-free.

One of my favourite spots to go downtown for lunch. The inside looks like a deli, so it’s definitely nothing fancy but also not a hole in the wall. I’d recommend the burger to anyone. It’s one of the best I’ve ever had AND made fresh.

I’ve been to Grace Cafe about three times now, and I always order the same thing: a chicken Caesar wrap on a whole wheat tortilla. I always get the same thing because I enjoy it so much. The tortilla is huge, and they fill it to capacity. It’s made right in front of you, so you know that it’s always fresh. The service is quick and friendly. I live nearby, so I always get mine to go, but the ambiance of the place is quite enjoyable. Based on this one dish alone, as well as the service and reasonable prices, I would definitely recommend Grace Cafe. I only wish that they were open later.

Awesome Big Breakfast for $7. Really good hash browns. Dry toast. Muffins are great when fresh. Day olds should be discounted. Good music.
