Went here with the family to celebrate a birthday. We had 2 large tables, which was spacious for 22ish of us. The restaurant was pretty busy at noon on a Saturday. There were 3-4 other tables occupied in addition to our party, but only 1 waitress. Service was alright. Had to constantly ask for water, grab our own pop cans and extra tissue we needed. Food was okay. I was super disappointed in the shredded duck soup. It was bland and tasted watered down. We had the deluxe fried rice and chow mein, which were meh. Nothing super special about them. We also had spicy fish, pork and veal which were all deep fried. Hard to mess up anything deep fried. Anyway, wouldn’t go out of my way to come here unless it were for a family occasion. Id rather go to East Ocean to satisfy my craving for Chinese food.
Their special shrimp is awesome. Most of the things here are good and I never had a meal I didn’t like. It’s a small place and there might be some communication barriers but everything on the menu is good. It’s also my fav place to get beef stew hot pot.
Been coming to this restaurant for several years, the food has for the most part been good. Yesterday, the food and service was very good. We ordered dumplings, shrimp, asperigus and a soup. Everything was good.
This restaurant has it’s pros and cons.Pros: would be if your craving semi-Americanized Chinese food then this is one of the best in the city for sure when it comes to that bang of a flavor. Also their hours are awesome as we go there after work with our coworkers all the time and they even give us some freebies for being regulars!Cons: would be the place looks a bit run down and area isn’t the best place but that shouldn’t stop you from trying the food. Some of the best tasting food is in places that is not really commercialized or in a good area!Result: If your looking for the taste of semi-Americanized Chinese food and don’t mind the area then this is the place to go!Recommended dishes:- Half chicken in soy sauce and green onion- Stir fried green beans in garlic sauce- Five spice calamari or shrimp
Huge menu. Fast service. Food is fresh cooked and excellent. Large portions and cheap prices. Clean. Not much ambience but who cares with such great food.
Valentines day with family at logan corner. Went with my family dinner time. The place is quite old and the window next to our table has a hole and cold wind coming from outside gets thru. But nevertheless, looks of the resto can be deceiving. Food is delicious. We ordered beef stew tofu hot pot, seafood fried rice, beef and bean sprout chowfan. The shrimp dumpling was not on the menu and the spicy shrimps was a bit too salty for me. The lady was friendly and food was served fast and hot. We ordered duck soup but it was not available so we opted for the beef stew tofu which is really yummy too. I will comeback to this place and food is good and so many servings for each dish so we did take out. If your not too particular with ambiance but wants good price and good food this is the place
Wow….. The food was pretty tasteless and the service was bloody horrible. Sat down and was handed menus, after 15 minutes or so a member of my party got tired of waiting and trying to flag the people working over she took our order to the counter. When we finally got our food the workers placed our order on the table without saying anything and was not heard of again for the rest of the night. It was a dead night and yet they still managed to screw up my order.
