You are in Churchill, not New York. Although basic, the hotel is clean and you cannot beat the friendly service. And when it is real cold, you don’t even have to go outside to get to food.
The bison burger was exactly that – ground bison. Nothing fancy. Friendly simple place serving honest food.
Simple, basic menu options. Do not expect urban restaurant choices. I ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here over the course of a week long stay and was not disappointed. Meals were fresh and satisfying even though they were not fancy.
The Churchill Hotel was clean and welcoming! The coffee in the room was appreciated, and the restaurant food was good. The staff was friendltpy and attentive.Will be staying again in November with NatHab.
I was staying at the Bear Country Inn nearby. Diners get some discount. Ordered the pickerel fish. Absolute disappointment. It was three miserable pieces of fried defrosted fish some over cooked chips and some mixed veges that seem to come from a can.
