Stopped here on a whim. The ambiance is very nice. No buffet. Ordered doro tibs, chicken dish. And gored gored, beef dish. And a lentil stew dish. Service was quick, but there were only 2 other tables, both eating already. Very tasty, a little bit on the spicy side for me, the spice wuss. It was cumulative, so just went slow. Lots of injara. Will come back again.

Went here as newbies with Ethiopian cuisine. Service was very helpful in suggesting a good assortment to sample a bunch of flavours. To start we had the timatim salad which was a mix of peppers onions tomatoes and injera bread pieces. It was very good and we could have eaten a giant bowl of it as a main dish. We also had samosas which were an exciting deviation from most samosas as they were primarily filled with chiles and lentils and not potatoes and peas (Mrs. Hitter HATES peas.) We had a veggie mix and meat mix platters for the main course which was a variety of veg and meat dishes as well as traditional salad on injera bread served with injera. It’s easy to fill up on injera and was tough to get used to the concept of not using utensils to eat. The house made hot sauce is sooo good and intensifies the flavour of everything.A word of advice – don’t come here starving or in a rush. We waited about an hour total for our food. The person serving us warned us it would be a wait as everything was prepared fresh and good food takes time. It was certainly worth the wait.

This place does not disappoint. It takes a while for the food to come but it’s always so good! And the servers are so friendly. Great experience and meal overall

This is the perfect place for anyone to try Ethiopian for the first time. That said, it also holds up against the competition even for seasoned palates. I like to go with a large group and order multiple meat combos and veg combos. I have always had great service. Never disappointed.

Very good! The chef was the waiter so not the fastest service but very worth it. Meat combo, Zilzil (watch out for the jalapeo peppers if you are expecting this as a mild dish)
