I called today to ask if an item they have on the menu needed to be special ordered ahead of time. The man who answered the phone clearly didn’t understand what special order meant and was so rude and arrogant. I would never come here on my own terms, but I come here periodically with my family on special occasions. The food is good, but customer service is definitely lacking. No matter how good the food is, bad customer service and a lousy-looking restaurant will keep people away.
Eating my beef curry rice and found a metal sponge. Gross! Never coming back. Manager didn’t seem bothered when was told of same . Used to like this for being good and open late but nevermind if cleanliness is compromised.
Good food, but absolutely rude service. Especially during calling for delivery. They also charged us a $7 delivery fee, but took 2 hours for the food to come. I do not recommend.
This is my go to for late night Chinese food. They recently changed management, but it appears the new owners didn’t try to change any of the many things that worked, most importantly the price has also stayed the same!The service is average for a Chinese restaurant and the decor and cleanliness is reasonable. I honestly just come here for the food which is great value.Last night, we ordered a hot and spicy peanut noodle soup with deep fried pork chop (#140) and is one of the best in the city, some people will know this as dam-dam noodles! We also got a plate of salt and pepper fried tofu. The batter was a tad too thick, but still tasty.If you’re looking for a snack or meal late at night, this is the place to go. They are consistently open till 3AM!
I’ll only go here voluntarily at 1 in the morning after having a couple of drinks. It’s a greasy spoon and the food isn’t great. I dont even think it’s that good, but its convenient and at 1 am, I think anything tastes good. Even this place..
BEST BEEF STEW IN TOWN! Love their food. Although their location isnt the greatest, we love coming to eat here! The service is reasonable, plus their business hours come in so useful for those random nights where we want chinese food at 1 in the morning!
If you wanna get the food poisoning, this is a restaurant you should go because last week, I went there with my friends after bar. I saw some rats were running around in the dinning area to the kitchen. It wasn’t small one, and kinda big. The food is okay for me, if they don’t always over cook the food, such as crispy spring chicken, szechuan beef, gan lan with beef and so on… we came after bar, so they thought we were drunk enough and couldn’t taste the food well. They are really wrong. We ain’t going to eat the chicken hard like rock because they were over cooked. The vegetable were too soft. Sometimes, it is too salty. If you notice the food carefully, you would see the food is reheated in microwave. If they reheat the food in microwave, why wouldn’t I just buy the frozen food and reheat it myself. As well, I don’t know the chef doesn’t taste the saltiness or they just wanna send us to hell slowly. They used to have very good customer service back to 5 or 6 years ago, and now just getting worse and worse because some new staff doesn’t speak well in English.Even the food isn’t tasting the same no more, and just getting worse and the worst. If you wanna get foodpoisoning and treated with no respects, I think it would be a place for you to go . We pay the money, and we should get the clean, fresh and yummy food, but not like this.
