Great place. Love this place, we need to drive six hours to get to Winnipeg when ever we are there this is one of the things we look forward to, both me and my wife are from Europe, it is a taste of home.As to one of the other reviews, what does the fact that this reviewer thinks croissants should be able to keep to the next day tell you about his or her knowledge of French baked goods?
Amazing baguette!. Best baguette! The only problem is I work tue to sat, it is just too hard to go there as their open hour is short.
When you need it!. I badly needed some croissant today and that flaky crust and yummy chocolate were perfect!
Excellent! Went first thing in the morning today to grab some croissants and boy was it worth the early start! As soon as I walked in, the scent of fresh baked goodies just stunned me as if I was in a million dollar dream. You know it must be a great bakery when customers were tagging in and out this early in the morning. Will be back to try more goodies!
Meilleure Baguette en Ville!. Born and raised in Montral by a rather Gourmet family, I have pretty high standards for breads.Bottom line is : Le Croissant is one of the best baguette that I have ever tasted anywhere. It has nothing to envy to any Montral bakeries. The croissants are also quite delicious. My ONLY complaint is that they are not open long enough!
Delicious!. If you want one of the the best croissants around, try Le Croissant. My absolute fav’s are poppyseed. Love, Love, Love them! But to get them you have to be in the door at 8am. I am and don’t mind. I have tried their bread, cheese and other pastries and they are absolutely delicious. I have not had a better croissant other than one from the Sofitel Hotel in the US. According to the newspaper article a few years ago, their hours are very much like a french bakery in France! Westerns expect to get whatever they want at any time of the day.
