Great service and an amazing bacon burger! There where about 10 tables all being served by one lovely young lady and I got my burger in less than 10 minutes. Absolutely great experience and the restaurant atmosphere was warm and very inviting.
Tried tipsy cow for lunch – ordered the bacon burger, sub par at best, beer was flat, fries came out cold. Ordered a soup in its place, was uninspiring. Service staff very unfriendly. Won’t return.
A great place for drinks after a Jets game – but also a great place to eat! Used this as a watering hole for a while until I grabbed lunch there with some of my employees. We tried the roast beef sandwich with au jus as well as the burgers and were very pleased! Very reasonably priced although the wait was a tad long. Would return, but not when in a rush.
I recently returned to Tipsy Cow in downtown Winnipeg for a second try. I wanted to love this place. My first visit was soon after they opened. It was not a great experience at all. Food was poor and service was also lack lustre, bathroom was very dirty. Last week, prior to a jets game, I tried again. Food was even more disgusting this time. Burger was cold, bun was stale and the onion rings were oil soaked and also cold. My buddy had the veggie burger and they forgot to put any toppings on it!For a place that markets itself as a hipster craft burger place and is charging on average 15$ for a burger it is very disappointing. I suspect their trade exists because of limited offerings in the area on hockey nights. There is no craft in these burgers other than the craft of not caring about what theyre platting. Save your money and bypass the Tipsy Cow in Winnipeg. Very disappointed and I will not be back.
