I was looking forward to trying Vientiane and was quite disappointed. Ordered spring rolls and all I could taste was the deep fryer oil. Wanted to order pork dumplings but was told there was none…it was 5:30pm on a Friday so that seems odd. So had the coconut prawns instead. It was ok but deep fried too long. Ordered the garlic and pepper stir fry with chicken with no spice. It was drenched in pepper which made it inedible. When I asked the server if the pepper amount was normal I was told yes and it did make the dish spicy. Considering I asked for zero spice, I wish the server had told me this dish was just overall spicy. Ive ordered pepper inspired dishes at other Thai restaurants and Ive never not been able to eat it. My friend ordered the peanut sauce stir fry and liked it but it was cold. The server was nice but seemed like the only person taking orders and dealing with the many takeout orders that occurred. I dont think Ill go back anytime soon. Id like to give it another try based on the reviews but overall it was a waste of my money.

The food here is always pretty good, not out of this world but consistent. My disappointment today was that I ordered it from skip the dishes and requested that chicken that was included in the dish be subbed for mushrooms. When the the dish came it unfortunately did not have any mushrooms in it :(I know they had them because something else I ordered had mushrooms in it already.Im also disappointed that they use frozen veggies in their red curry soup! Gross ! No one likes frozen carrots, no one!

This the second time we ordered from this restaurant. And for the second time our order was incorrect. The restaurant would not correct the mistake, and customer service was poor. I will not recommend this for anyone

Great service and amazing food. The Tom Kha Kai soup was soo good! We had a few delicious appetizers and shared the Hoa Mok and Miang Puck as well.

I ordered takeaway last Friday night and I was dreadful. Penang curry was mostly frozen mixed vegetables with a pre-made curry sauce. Very few shrimp in the order. I have never had to pay for rice at other Thai restaurants, that is just wrong! Will not go back.

This is my favourite thai place in the city, and I’ve tried almost all of them. My favourite dishes are the matsaman, coconut curry soup (red or green), thai peanut sauce stir fry, and the mee krop. But really, you can’t go wrong with any of their dishes. Good sized portions as well!

Always good and always quick. I’ve never had a bad meal here in the 15-20 times I’ve been. Their menu is solid and prices are very very fair for the amount of food they give you. I loooooove it hot, heat level 10 is awesome for any chili heads out there.
