I like the buffet. The quality got much better in the past year or so. However, the price increased drastically, from $6.95 (with club card) several years ago to $14.50 now on a regular weekday (no special). I find this too expensive. Considering that the casino makes so much money with gambling, they should feed their guests for a better price. This shows: on weekdays, JAG is almost empty, and the selection of food is reasonable but not exorbitant, it could be a bit more.

Second time still good… We came here before our show starts last Saturday and we found the food still good especially the prime ribs. There was a sale promo going on with their wine selection at $20 per bottle that night. My only suggestion, if they could change some of their menus weekly or every other two weeks for the regulars so they won’t get tired of the same food menus. The dessert section though has varieties. We’ll be back if we are craving for prime ribs.13 Nov, 2014Nice Experience. We had a nice experience last Remembrance Day with their all you can eat ribs buffet. The ribs came in 3 different flavors but I liked the one with the sauce better than the other two. Service was prompt. The only downside is they don’t have wide selection of beers and wines. We’ll try it again next time.

Consistent Buffet – Best Bang for your Buck. In Winnipeg, there are only a handful of buffets that offer Prime Rib. As far as consistency and value, Jag’s is the place to be on Saturday nights when they have their Prime Rib Buffet. If you have a club card (free to join), you get a discount. All-in (tips/taxes), my bills have always come out to $25 or less. The prime rib is offered in well-done or medium rare. Yes, they offer 2 seperate roasts. Personally, I like my steaks rare or medium rare, so this is fantastic, unlike pretty much every other Prime Rib buffet in town, where they only offer well done and charge 15-20% more. The prime rib quality itself is average, but it beats the quality of any other prime rib buffet in town, and I’ve been to all of them. As far as the soups, salads, sides and other hot main entrees available, they are average. Nothing eye-catching. Dessert station is well-stocked with a variety of cakes, fruit fondue, and they have a soft-serve ice cream machine with a lot of toppings to choose from. If you like Prime Rib, it is well-worth the price.Service is always prompt.

Not good food!. This buffet is definitely not worth the price you pay. We were a group of 8 and out of all of the different items we tried, the only things that were decent were the store-bought pastries and the fruit. The crepes weren’t too bad either, but everything else was pretty gross. The French Toast had a weird taste, the waffles were chewy, the sausages tasted weird, etc. I wouldn’t even touch the seafood section because it smelled very fishy. The lettuce was kind of wilted. The list goes on. The service was good, but I would never go back or suggest it to anyone.

Worst buffet ever, told the staff that a noodle salad was bad and tasted rancid, the salad was left out and not replaced. The warm food was disgusting and inedible, the only saving was the store bought deserts.

Decently good buffet for the money with friendly attentive staff. Small item but would suggest that soup spoons be placed near soup not together with other cutlery as is the custom with most buffets.

Police State. Palooka security guards prevented us from entering because one of our party did not have photo ID. Ruined our special occasion. I will be telling people how badly they treated us for the rest of my life.
