This was the first and only time i will try this place, i went to Palatal Stir Fry Express off regent and ordered takeout, and i have to say what a disappointment. This Place Gives HUGE portions but it tasted terrible, the noodles were super soft and i’m glad they hardly used any sauce, because it was gross.
Tasty Food. I enjoy the food at the restaurant and the price is reasonable. The staff isn’t super friendly but that’s not a big problem. The woman who appears to be in charge is very hard on her staff and that made me uncomfortable. On two occasions we came in about an hour before closing and the staff cleaned the floor with Pinesol while we tried to eat our meal. This job should be done after diners have left. It turns you off your food.
POOR SERVICE, DIRTY UTENSILS, SUBPAR FOOD. This location has poor customer service. The lady looks miserable, and isn’t friendly. I came in waited about 1-2 min before she eventually emerged from the back. She proceeded to fiddle with something behind the counter,and doesn’t even acknowledge me. She just stands at the end staring at me. So I proceed to order. All the while she’s rude when I ask a question. Two other people walk in and she goes through her miserable routine. Turns around talks to the guy cooking in her language and they both start laughing while the customer is paying. She doesn’t wash her hands, grabs sticks from the bottom that have food clearly stuck to it and then she starts cooking the customers food. My food was soooooo bland I had to come home and add teriyaki and soya sauce. It’s apparent they water down they’re sauces. I’ve been to 3 other locations way better food, service and hygiene. Don’t waste your money. I should have known better when I walked in and it was empty . Worst service, if you hate your job keep it to yourself .
OMG service is so bad. We just finished a great meal, but it tookl 35 mins to it get. 3 others in restaurant waiting for order when we walked in at 445 saturday Sept 13. While here we watch e groups leave 5 customers. While ordering the lovely female asked her male cook twice to come out to cook as there were 5 bowls waiting to be done and he never came out. After 20 min three males came out, but only 1 cooked 1 dish at a time 1 male made a bubble tea whle the third began to fill stacked up take out orders.. and then the supper rush arrived what a mess these three are. They must be fam$ily to the owner who will sadly loose the business, and not because of the great food, price and location, but because. Of the people working or rather not working for him. Save your valuable time and go to Mongos, you won’t be as disappointed
I have tried the other locations and really enjoyed my food. My husband seears by the Regent location so we went there this evening around 7:00. There was one customer being served ahead of us but no one else in the place. The young lady was serving the person ahead of us but no one was cooking. At that point the young lady calls to the back- presumably for someone o cook the food. A young man comes out from the back, and without washing his handS begins to handle the food in the serving line with his bare hands. We left and went home and made a sandwich. Palatal lost two really good customers tonight because of the image the staff projected. Too bad.
Okay, but not spectacular. I like that I had the option between many different types of noodles as well as white and brown rice. I had the daily special and found there wasn’t very much meat. I guess maybe I could suggest getting double meat for people who like to balance out the starch to protein ratio. There were plenty of veggies to choose from, which was nice. I was unsure, so I asked what sauces would go best with mine and got a mix of teriyaki and sweet and sour sauces and a little bit of hot sauce. Unfortunately I found my stir-fry to be tasteless when it came down to eating it. I will try again in the future with a new mix of sauces and double meat.
I can’t believe I didn’t come here sooner. Soooo good! Mix and match a huge assortment of veggies, proteins, noodles and sauces. Super helpful staff will help build a great stir fry (especially sauce combos) for the uninitiated.
