Safeway has left the building. Sobey’s has brought in all of their rock bottom quality garbage food and replaced all of the quality foods that were once Safeway.The prices have remained outrageously high. We never shop at Sobey’s, and now we can say that we will never shop at Safeway either.So much for competition and opening the market. All they have managed to do is to make Superstore the only option for Manitoba.
Decently fresh food at ok prices and good for a quick pick up should you need to grab and go. Though they have seating now so if you’re super hungry and want to kick around you can eat at the front of the store. I find it a bit odd for seating myself and would opt out but the option is there!I love those soups. I know they’re terrible for you but they are so tasty!
