Ended up here for a Paint Nite, we were early so we ordered food. I’ve never tasted bad chicken fingers before, but I guess there’s a first time for everything. The coating was unseasoned and thin, it was like they used stale breadcrumbs. I’ve never once complained about my food at a restaurant, usually I just shut up and eat it. But these chicken fingers were puzzlingly horrid, I didn’t know it was possible to screw up chicken fingers lol. BUT the staff noticed we weren’t eating our chicken, they talked to the manager who was super nice and comped our meal (and comped our appetizer of garlic toast, totally not necessary but appreciated!) they agreed that the chicken fingers are off and told us the kitchen has been working on a new recipe! So while the food wasn’t good, the staff was fantastic. 🙂
Best beef tenderloin in the city, hands down!. Our party of 5 went to this restaurant early on a Friday evening and were very impressed with the romantic atmosphere. We started with the chorizo meatball appetizer and all agreed that if they were an entree in themselves, we would order it as that! Just the right amount of spice and definitely not dry (as meatballs can be). I had the beef tenderloin. It was so tender with a red wine reduction that paired perfectly with this delicious beef. Mouth watering! The others tried the cassoulet and the fettuccine. They stated they enjoyed it and since they never even let me try a bite, I believe them! The jumbo shrimp on the fettuccine were just that, JUMBO. Impressive plating! Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Great job. We will be back!
