Ordered for the first time a couple days ago. Was ok. The pepper beef was good. Lemon chicken sauce and the sweet and sour were way too sweet. Was like liquid candy. I’ve had way better Chinese. Would have to be desperate to order from there again.
Good bang for your buck. Now that we have been staying on watt this is our go to Chinese restaurant My boyfriend and I always order the breaded veal, mini spring rolls and the satay Shanghai noodles they never disappoint.
Awful. First time customer and last time we order 5 disheseverything was just taste less could not tell the difference between the 3 meat dishes……BEEF………..was it BEEF? the covering was so thick on everythingjust a waste of money
Large portions. The combos come in large portions but the food tasted okay. Maybe next time I’ll order from the menu instead.
Good food in my backyard. I live a street over from Wing’s and as a result I tend to order takeout from them more often than i should even be eating out. But that’s fine, since the food is consistently tasty and well prepared, and I’ve always had good service every time I’ve gone. I have not eaten-in or had much off of the menu, but the few things I’ve had have been good. And the individual combination plates are a value, I think, for the price you get a huge amount of food, my favorite is the dry breaded veal combo. Good stuff, if maybe quite on the salty/msg side.Overall, it’s not an awesome nor a terrible place, it’s pretty middle of the road really, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Consistently better-than-decent food at good prices.
Wing’s Restaurant, a quaint place. An interesting location for a Chinese Restaurant, but that does not matter as the food that we tried was really good. It ranks near or at the top for flavor and presentation for the Chinese-food restaurants in Winnipeg. The usual fare (chow mein, deep fried won tons) were very good and the latter I would say is the best in the city that I have tasted. The regular dishes have a taste that makes it different from the others, and that is not a bad thing. The service was friendly and the prices are quite competitive in this market. An A+ for a great experience in a small restaurant.
Good food, nice lunch specials. Quantity is pretty good (I rarely finish all my rice) and it all tastes great! 🙂
