I’ve been a fan of chicken chef for awhile. Haven’t ordered from there lately as I’ve been trying new things, but when you get that craving you must answer the call. Well, after tonight I don’t think I’ll be going back. I walked in with my son shortly before 8, the entire crew was cleaning and there were no customers at all. The girl that was vacuuming looked annoyed that we were there and asked if we were taking out and made it clear that they didn’t want customers in there nicely cleaned, set and vacuumed restaurant. So. Placed my order …lg fries, lg gravy, and 18 PC. Cost me $60. Waited roughly 10 or so minutes, got my food and left. Fries are always awesome, the gravy nice and hot but the chicken, the chicken looks and felt Like it was sitting out for a few hours. It was over breaded to the point that the breading was meatier than the chicken!! I also had 6 wings in my bucket of 18 and one keel..the rest were all thighs in excessive amounts of breading. I can’t believe that my bucket it untouched as usually the chicken is devoured at my house.Step up your game chicken chef, I’ll be calling you tomorrow!

I’ve ordered from this place over 30 Times in the last 6 months.They have an amazing lunch special 3pc chicken and a large portion of fry’s for $7.15+taxes, you can’t even get fast food for that price anymore.I was surprised how good the pizza was the first time i ordered it.
Food is not bad at all. The chicken has good flavour, perhaps slightly too salty though, and i actually really enjoy the fries. Sure, the service isnt amazing, but not terrible either. What can you expect from a chicken chef in all reality? I rather enjoyed it.
Yum!. The food is delicious. Poutine is one of my favorite in the whole city, the pork bites are a must try. The pie and other desserts are amazing! The staff are helpful and funny. I love this restaurant. You’ve got to try it.
Great Food. I eat there regularly and I love it, the food is always served hot and fresh. I’m a big fan of the poutine, I absolutely love their gravy. The pork bites and battered mushrooms are great with a cold beer. And I almost always order the chefs burger, it’s sooo good. Two thumbs up from this guy
While the food is usually pretty decent, I have yet to not have at least part of my order screwed up. Favorite time was when I was served a 3 piece chicken after ordering a 3 piece fish dinner. Still, it’s reasonably cheap and comfortable to bring my family.
The food is awesome… If dining in, don’t be surprised if the service is not very good or they are out of some of the menu items… Take out pizza and chicken has always been perfect!!
