Nothing to rave about. Went there as my colleague said they’re fast and decent. We ordered butter chicken (Indian Style, something we were not aware of) and pork piquante burrito. The poutine was too salty & soggy. I do not find the price matching the taste. I have tasted better.
I went here 3 days in a row…First day I had the bean and steak burrito and it was huge and delicious. The paper it came wrapped in is not waterproof and the burrito leaked and make the paper rip, it was also so big it was kind of unwieldy. I recommend having a plate and a fork handy when you eat one of these. They are amazing though.Second visit I had a steak pita with taziki sauce and curry mayo on it.. Both sauces were really delicious and the pita was also massive. Way better than pita pit or subway. This time I was prepared for it and had a plate and fork ready. Again super delicious but not quite as good as the burrito.Third visit I got the original chicken fingers and fries. This time I wasn’t impressed. The fingers and fries went into a paper cone and comes with a little tub of honey dill sauce. It came with like 8 packages of ketchup but there was no salt in the bag or on the fries. It all tasted like it was cooked in old oil and the fries were soggy and bland. The honey dill sauce was decent but I’ve had better. The fingers also had the old oil taste and were a little overdone. I ended up choking down the fingers and tossing the fries.I won’t let this bad experience turn me away from this place though, they have so many other good things and their prices are reasonable but I probably won’t order anything fried from them again. I’ve heard people say they enjoyed their fried stuff so it could just be me, YMMV.
Tried the peanut chicken noodles and the Thai curry soup. It was not good. I only ate it because I was starving… and I paid $20 for my meal.I like what it looks like inside, nice and cozy. The service was alright, the server looked a bit unfriendly. I may go again and try something different, but I highly recommend not to try the peanut chicken noodles and the Thai curry soup.
Bodegoes has a very eclectic menu and you should be able to find something to your particular tastes. The service is good and the food is prepared right in front of you. There us a large outdoor patio for warm weather, but it is small on the inside. I suggest getting the take-out when it’s cold.
This place surprised us with yummy wraps (lamb, falafel) and noodle dishes, cheerful and VERY fast service, good iced coffee, good cafeteria-style prices, and cheerful indoor (air conditioned!) seating. There’s also a large patio, which the sultry weather discouraged us from trying. It’s probably quite pleasant in better weather. The women’s washroom could have been cleaner, but it was passable.A good place for a quick and tasty meal in the Exchange District.
Consistent Favourite. One of my go-to’s for lunch as I work in the exchange district, usually alternate between the kung pao beef and the spicy red curry beef both with the thicker wheat noodles. Flavor is always good and they pack a ton of food into those take out boxes for a decent price, can’t really ask for more than that.
I don’t know what to say. Normally I like this place. Good fresh food and prepped in appetizing ways.Today I had a pork tosino burrito. I think it was the chef, the one guy with a cold sore on his lip and curly hair, and glass. . Made the worst burrito. I walked out after my first few bites. I’ll go back, but not If this guy is cooking
