Bodegoes is my go to for take out in the exchange. I love this place for their noodle boxes – my fave’s are the coconut chicken green curry and the BBQ pork. I keep meaning to try other things, but why mess with success? Always good. Never disappointed.
Came across Bodegoes in the Exchange after a meeting. Needed a quick bite.Chose the pork pita pocket for about $10. It tasted like a pita from Pita Pit but with a few good BBQ pork strips. Wished there was more meat in pita.Pita could have been heated or toasted more. Pita didn’t hold sauces well at all- bottom broke after a few bites and out went the sauces and contents.Don’t expect pita skin to be the quality of donairs at Baraka.Pita was dry and a tad cold. Food is made quickly, so it’s a good alternative to hamburger fast food joints, or if one is tired of Chosabi, King and Bannatyne, etc.Staff’s service is typical of a quick serve restaurant. Lots of seating in restaurant- main level and lower level.I would return for a quick bite in the future if I’m tired of near by places. Would not eat the pita again.
