I’ve always really loved everything there. It’s my all time favorite spot for espresso. I don’t go often however just because I find the staff to not be very warm. On Instagram and everything it’s always all smiles. I thought it was just a fluke, but after a few times in a row.. I’ll find good espresso somewhere else. I went with different people all the time, and they all agreed, that it felt as if we were looked down upon from them, usually always the same guy at the cash register. And felt like we weren’t that welcome.

Never really had a bad experience with their donuts until today 🙁 I bought the Oliver donut from their University of Manitoba location, and was really disappointed. The Oliver donut was really dry and hard. It looked really tasty and good from the display, but unfortunately the one I got and bought seemed like it was a day old or something.

Predating the arrival of Oh Doughnuts by approximately 18 months one can safely say Bronuts brought Artisan fried Dough to Manitoba, and with a location in walking distance from Clementine it was on the way out of town that Brett and Dylan Zaharis comfortable Caf was visited and found to be excellent despite its surfer-dude name.Yet another fairly new business hoping to make Winnipegs Exchange District a destination, aforementioned Clementine as well as deer + almond also earning accolades both local and national, it is immediately on entering the brightly lit space at 3-100 King Street that guests will notice a stark contrast from Amanda Kindens Doughnuttery on Broadway, the clean layout and loquacious employees happy to discuss their concept and make recommendations amongst ten daily choices.A passion project for the locally raised brothers, time and research including baking classes in The Bay Area finally yielding a signature Brioche base that raises high with subtle egginess and plenty of Yeast, each Bronut is named after an unspecified Woman or Man and beginning first with a lady named Blair the quality of Glaze is immediately evident as the flavor of fresh Strawberries walks in-step with reduced Balsamic Vinegar.Continuing next with Fridays Special, a weekly tradition where Bronuts tries out new ideas, it probably will not surprise anyone that Caramel and Coffee pair nicely considering the success of Starbucks Macchiato while a transition to Cake shows versatility as two entirely different flavored bases came across moist and dense, Trixie like a warm bowl of Oats and Francine better than any fair or farm ring thanks to bold aromatics plus a lightly fruity linger.Rounding out the morning with filled and Fritter, the fact that Bronuts covers a wide-range of styles despite such a concise collection speaking volumes about the Zaharis attention to detail, suffice it to say that even Peanut Butter and Jelly is benefitted by scratch made Jam plus whole salted Peanuts while Brock eschewed typical Fruit flavors and went all in on a Fritter that is grease-free but still hefty thanks to Dark Chocolate, Marshmallows and Nuts both on top and within. endoedibles.com

Ordered their raspberry lemonaide donut a few weeks ago and it was not great. The donut itself was very heavy, dense, and pretty inedible. The glaze on top had nice flavour but was gritty. I ate the filling which was very tasty and threw the rest out. Definitely not worth the money, I could have gotten a better donut from Tim Hortons and they have frozen donuts! I also could have gotten several Robin’s Donuts for the cost and they would have tasted much better.

This place is over rated. Limited selections of flavoured donuts. Coffee highly priced. Parkingis areal big challenge. Nice friendly staff. Love the fresh clean decor butdon’t know if I’ll be back.

Such a cute place! Definitely love the vibes I get from this shop with everyone being so friendly. The Boston cream is heavenly and the lattes are amazing.

The donuts are fresh. That was a pleasure: to smell the fragrance before biting into a soft, sweet mouthful. Long wait to be served, which is a nice problem to have as a proprietor, I’m sure. It would be nice to be able to see the current options earlier; the lineup to order obscures the choices and reduces the time to make a decision. Small area for seating, which does take away from having a nice long coffee gab. The price is a little high for returning regularly, which is definitely better for my waistline! The bronut itself was a nice indulgence, perfect preceding a walk on wintry day.
