Legit changed my mind about how I feel towards breakfast food.I have always been a dinner or lunch guy but Clementines dishes are simply above par from the usual.One of the few breakfast establishments in Canada that really prides itself in presentation and ingredients that Ive been to.
Went here for the first time for a birthday. We told the server it was a birthday a couple times and that it was the first visit for everyone in the group. We didnt expect freebies but the service was very lacklustre. We didnt even get a happy birthday from the server just a look of disgust , perhaps she was assuming we wanted free stuff. Unlike at Segovia, no specials were explained to us or any recommendations whatsoever, which would have been helpful considering we had some special diets in the group and were first timers. The food did come out quickly and ended up tasting pretty good. However for the astronomical amount we spent, even knowing we would leave hungry, we expected just a bit more with the experience. Its as though when a restaurant like this gets so big for its britches they no longer feel as though they need to try to please the customer and the food will speak for itself. Which is somewhat true but our order selections and overall experience would have likely been better had we been given the option to properly select off the menu options.

The food, the service, the ambience, just everything has always been so welcoming and comforting. There has yet to be an item on the menu that I didnt like or havent craved for the next day. This place is possibly my favourite in the city. I wish they took reservations, but waiting for a table is so worth the experience. Highly recommend the Burger Dip and Maple Braised Bacon.
