Great service, and even better coffee. Had a pour-over made in front of me with pleasant coffee-nerd banter to accompany. Thanks so much! Will return the next time I’m in Winnipeg.

Spacious renovated room in old building full of trendy people. Non binary wait staff. I’m always amazed how establishments dedicated to one thing, in this case coffee, can’t seem to do even that right. There is no coffee. They’ll make you a drip coffee or an Americano. I had an Americano and it was awful. Nonetheless, I would go back because I approve of pretentious environments.

Forth is a great little chill spot in the east exchange. I’ve been here a couple of times for drinks and a quick bite before. I would recommend this place for drinks or coffee, but not necessarily for their food. They have simple things on their menu and they’re alright, but nothing that makes me want to come back and eat more. I definitely always always still feel hungry after eating something here and usually have to go somewhere else to satisfy my food needs. Pretty cool place though with the hidden bar downstairs, rooftop in the summer and sometimes have art displayed. Will come here again but for drinks.

Forth has been a favorite spot since it opened. Where else can you go for breakfast and coffee, a stroll through an art gallery, are able to watch coffee being roasted and drink cocktails + dinner all in the same place? I could spend all day here. Tasty brunch items are available during the day. Amazing staff and atmosphere… and they recently got new teas that brought my favorite (tea latte) to a whole new level. Not only that… but there is a small bar in the basement that serves amazing 2-3oz cocktails that are 100% worth the price. Keep it up Forth!!

I want to like this place so bad. I love their menu and their design, but their service is SO slow. I was ignored for literally ten minutes at the front without an explanation and then when I finally got my order taken, the barista wasn’t very friendly at all. I ordered the avocado toast with a soft poached egg. When it came out the server told me there was a mixup and they gave me an extra poached egg. Okay that’s fine I guess. However when I broke the egg, expecting the yolk to ooze out like it should, it was WAY overcooked. The best part about avocado toast is a runny egg. But these were poached hard. Such a waste. I didn’t want two over cooked eggs. I wanted one soft poached egg, like I ordered. I could have sent it back but by that time I was so hungry I just ate it anyways. Super disappointed 🙁

Went here to check out what’s the hype. The place looks chill and plus they close late. The coffee was good but not the best and the food is a little expensive. Overall my experience was great and the staff are nice too.

This place has it all cafe|coffee bar|bar. The upstairs space is the eatery/coffee bar that’s open M-F 7am-10pm and Saturday/Sunday 9am-5pm. The Forth Bar is not as easy to find on first pass as it’s not the same entrance as the cafe. The Forth Bar has a door leading downstairs to a Lisa Kehler Art + Projects gallery that’s open during the day and a bar area that is dimly lit with several tables. The bar serves up some classic and house created cocktails ($11-$13) plus a handful of dishes like tacos and dumplings for $9. You got a bowl full of peanuts upon being seated. The vibe is relaxed and crowd is late 20s to late 30s. Tried the French 75 which I thought was too tart for my liking. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance and would definitely return. Music was pretty retro. The bar’s hours are not as obvious but generally open till midnight or so.Cafe owned by Little Sister Coffee Maker owner Vanessa Stachiw, Parlour Coffee owner Nils Vik, Gimli’s Chad Ermel and Minneapolis-based Dogwood Coffee.
