Was here the other night with some friends. The bar tenders were rude and arrogant. Went for the live music, the bar tender Peter was yelling at the musicians during their set telling them just play the f***ing hockey game. Super disrespectful and uncomfortable environment. Will not be returning or recommending to anyone.

I feel as though the food has improved in the 15 years or so that Ive been frequenting this pub. I very much enjoyed my chicken souvlaki dinner last night. For $13, I got one skewer or chicken with tzaziki, as well as a decent portion of fries and Greek salad. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my plate arrived after I ordered since the establishment seemed to be quite busy.My one complaint would be the overpriced drinks. $5.50 for a vodka-7Up which was mostly a small tumbler full of ice.

I was at the King’s Head one evening a few years ago, and although everything else was good, I found the lower level lighting too dark for my tastes. I was there again yesterday, and have changed my opinion about returning. I had a wonderful time. My friend and I went for the craft sale, and stayed for the food! We sat by the window and thoroughly enjoyed our spot. It was bright and sunny, so the King’s Head had a different feel.We had an excellent experience! With great moods all around, the staff played a huge part in it, especially the one who looked after us. (I wish I had his name, because he deserves mention.) He was genuinely warm, friendly and attentive. He clearly liked what he was doing, and made our interactions very enjoyable. Thank you! :-)I felt like finger food, so I had the fries. They were delicious! Fresh from the kitchen, they looked hand cut. They were thick and tasty, with just a bit of salt. The portion was quite generous. My friend had the Maple Butternut Squash soup. It came in a big bowl and was just as delicious as the name suggests. (I tried a spoonful.)The local beer selection–Torque–was very tasty. When we left, we were feeling uplifted and happy! There were wonderful kitchen smells wafting around that added to our idea to return and try something else. I have on good authority, that the curries at the King’s Head are great! I can hardly wait to try them.

The beer is way too expensive!!! Also the food is expensive!! I ordered a beer and burger for lunch and the burger was burned and the beer was $11!!! My bill came to 30$ after tip. Ouch! Food was sub par too wont be going here for lunch again.

Took one of a few tables that were vacant (indicating that it was not crazy busy) only to be ignored by not one, but at least two servers. They didn’t even acknowledge that we were there, even though there were no menus, drinks, or glasses on the table. Other tables that came in were given menus and had their orders taken. After 15 minutes we got up and left. Will not return nor recommend!

The service was good and the beer selection was good as well. The food however, was terrible. My friend had the Paneer. It did not look like paneer, and tasted very bland, according to him. My self and our other friend had the chicken burger. I have never seen a chicken breast that small before. I could have combined the two breasts, and we still wouldn’t have had enough for one burger. Besides the size of the chicken breasts, the burger had nothing going on taste wise. Another member of our party had the vegetable curry, which he said was very tasteless and not at all good. Perhaps we came on an off night, however, I will stick to beer if I go back.
