Wait is often quite long but the food is always amazing!! Hand-crafted, delicious, I love it here. I also love the feel of the place. Funky, a bit retro, clean, fun.
Miss Browns is a cafe that serves breakfast and sandwiches located in the Exchange District. The place itself is pretty casual. You place your order in at the front and the server brings your meal to your table when the it is ready. I had the Big Brekkie, which is a typical classic breakfast that comes with a bit of everything (including toast, eggs, meat and potatoes). What I was pleased with was that it came with smoked beef briskets, which made the meal more unique and appetizing. I had a positive experience here and would definitely come back to try out different items at my next visit as the menu changes on a weekly basis.
Had a great brunch here today with some ladies. They were able to accommodate our group of seven which we really appreciated. All of our food was amazing! I ordered the veggie bagel with a side of hash browns and a gin Caesar. The bagel was so good, simple yet flavourful! The staff were all very friendly and it was a great brunch experience. Will definitely be returning to try more of the menu!
I tried out Miss Browns on a weekend when Clementine’s was too busy. It’s a clean space that had the AC running full blast so we sat outside. We had the eggs bennie, the big brekkie, and the brisket hash. Presentation of food was decent, but the servings felt a little on the small side. The most disappointing thing about each meal were the hash browns. They were large, homestyle pieces, but not crisp on the outside like I’d expect. The meals were okay, but everything felt a little lacking in flavour like the hollandaise in the eggs bennie. The one element that was overly flavourful was our bacon in the big brekkie meal, which tasted purely of smoke. The poached eggs were the highlight of our meal and done to perfection. There were some hits and misses for me in our meals.
Go for lunch here all the time. The daily soup is so goooooood. Also i order the salmon cream cheese spinach bagel. Its honestly so good and the staff are so nice and friendly. They make awesome coffee cold or hot. Ive been a handful of times and never dissapoints.
Super cute restaurant, loved the atmosphere. Lots of food options although I found the portions were quite small. I ordered the eggs Benedict and tasty but it was nothing special.
Came here on a Sunday morning with 7 people and we ordered 9 breakfast items. The brisket hash, grilled cheese and mushroom skillet were the most popular. I liked the order and pay first process much better than the old traditional way. It was a cozy environment with wooden tables where you seat yourself. The price was definitely affordable and we will be back.
