Yum!. I’ve eaten at the Stuff It truck twice so far this spring, and YUM!! The frisky fried banana peppers and chickpea curry in a roll (the bigger one) were both awesome. I plan on going back very soon! They now take visa, which is very convenient.
As advertised…I’m STUFFED!! :). Well if it was just based on the friendly, customer orientated nature of the owner Jordan, you’d already have to give this truck an A++! But then you get to the delicious, home cooked menu items…and you want to rate it even higher! I tried the Chili Champ, and both the Cajun Fried Pickles and the Frisky Fried Banana Peppers (I mean how could I resist with a name like that?). That thing was LOADED with meat, and super flavorful including a nice mix of veggies. The fried sides were fresh, warm, and the zingy dipping sauce…well put that on a shoe and it’d be tasty! I’d love to try one of the other varieties with chicken, and maybe have room for dessert. The only suggestion I’d make is that the website needs to be updated as it still lists the old menu prices ($6.00 including tax; now $8.00 including tax for the full sized Stuff It’s and $5.00 for the smaller pitas). Oh and don’t forget to pick up your loyalty card to enjoy some free sandwich action for all your hard eating work! Thanks Stuff It truck…I’ll be seeing you again real soon 😉
Pockets are disappointing. I probaby should have gotten the baguette but opted for the pocket. Did not realize it was deep fried and then you had to eat it with a fork. It was sitting in a big pool of oil when I opened my container. Really disappointed with that. The chicken jambalaya filling was just okay, not a lot of flavour (or filling).
Get stuffed at stuff it. The stuff it truck was outside Concordia hospital this weekend, and eschewing the regular crappy cafeteria fare, we went to check out their wares. I went with the chicken Jambalya stuffit sandwhich, with added cheese, and the banana fudge dessert. The combo with the sandwhich, dessert side, and a drink was 13 bucks. You have add on options of cheese or bacon for a buck extra. Very good deal. Unfortunately, they forgot to put the cheese into my sandwich. But when I went back they happily apologized and offered to refund. I promptly just put the loonie in the tip jar, as the service was excellent. The baguette was indeed stuffed full of deliciousness. I chose hotsauce as an add(there are about 6 sauces to choose from) and my sandwich had a nice spicy bite, which was balanced nicely by the tangy coleslaw mixed in. The dessert was warm, and the bananas stuffed in the pastry wrapping nicely. The fudge was just ok. . Also a little on the small side, so I wouldn’t order it solo at 3.50.as a combo add on, it was decent, and overall hit the sweet spot nicely after my spicy lunch. It takes awhile for food to arrive, as it is made to order, so probably not a fast stop spot if you’re in a hurry. But if you have 5 minutes to wait, its more then worth it. And. Proprietor is very friendly and made enjoyable banter while we waited. The music blasting from speakers outside made the time enjoyable too. All in all, definitely won me over, and I will happily return next time they’re around.
Amazing new items for stuff it foods. If you loved it last year you have to try the breakfast wrap and the pockets are so yummy. Disappointing. Had Stuff It for the first time today and was disappointed. I had the chickpea curry in a wrap and was really looking forward to it. However, it seemed to be mostly coleslaw, very few chickpeas and I didn’ t notice any rice at all. For a curry with extra spicy sauce, it was fairly tasteless. I wouldn’t go back.My sister had the chicken wrap and found hers to be the same, fairly tasteless with little chicken and most coleslaw. Looking at the previous post on here, maybe it was an off week???
Chilli stuff it to die for. Stopped by today for the first time. After looking over their menu I decided to try the Chilli stuffit and got a side of deep fried banana peppers. Loved both. The peppers added an extra crunch and spice to my lunch and the chilli stuffit , stuffed me (and I’m a big eater). It was interesting as we walked down broadway. Guy in the truck asked if we had any questions, we told him it was our first outing for street food this year and he told us to check out the entire strip! Very bold, but he was right after lookng at what else was out there I needed to go back. So worth it.I’ll definately be back.
