First taste of the 2017 season! Love their pizza. The crust is chewy, pepperoni has a nice bite to it and the cheese just makes it. Can’t wait until they’re at the Forks so I can get this year round.

Red Ember has become a weekly lunch staple for me at the St. Norbert farmers market. The specials are always absolutely fantastic, or when I want something classic the GOB is the only way to go!! Great friendly service, high quality ingredients, wood fired – perfection. I would argue the best pizza anywhere. If you see this impressive red truck parked, do yourself a favour and get in line!

The G.O.B… I keep trying it but I am never blown away. Pizza here is okay. I definitely find it to be a 50/50 chance that my pizza won’t be cooked in the middle. I enjoy the roasted garlic on the pizza but do wish it was chopped better, I’ve had full cloves ruin my taste buds for a few hours.

Definitely can understand why they have such a huge lineup at lunch on Broadway! Checked them out at #foodtruckwars this evening and was impressed. Pizza ready within 5 min, hot, topped well, tasty. Will absolutely be trying their pizza more often.

I honestly believe this is one of the best wood-fired pizzas in town. You can’t miss this big red food truck. Service is friendly. The wait is reasonable. The prices are fair. The crust is thin with a thicker, chewier edge and has a little char and smoke flavour to it from their wood oven (yes, in the food truck!) which I love! I typically prefer a saltier crust, but that’s just me (I don’t think it’s under-seasoned). The ingredients are as local as they can make them. Their breakfast pizza is one of my favourites, but I will most often get their feature pizza for the ingredient seasonality and adventure. I only wish they had a sit-down restaurant so I don’t have to run after them all summer!

One of the best food trucks in the city! The pizza is fantastic :), it is worth standing in line to grab food here. I love that they always have a feature pizza too, which use some really interesting ingredients in.
