I’d eat here more often if I could trust myself not to eat poutine every time. It’s one of the best (if not the best) poutines in the city. They have a lot of healthy options as well.
I have eaten here a few times over the years and I would say that it has been a positive experience every time. The menu has a great variety to keep everyone happy when there. The food is always delicious. I often go here Friday mornings with my coworkers for the $5 breakfast of eggs, hasbrowns, sausage/bacon, toast and a good cup of coffee. Great breakfast for extremely cheap. It can definitely get busy around noon as most other places on campus do but it is always a great atmosphere with good service that keeps me coming back.
I have eaten here plenty of times. The service is great with a very friendly staff. The burgers here are the best in the UofM Campus, their portions are reasonable with the price. Though the other dishes such as the tachos are small in portion and not worth the price. Overall, I would return here, the place is very decent.
The portions here are pretty good for your money. The time you wait for your food isn’t too bad if you’re keeping yourself occupied with other things (like talking to your friend or doing some school work, etc.). I like their iced vanilla green tea, it’s got that slight brisk with green tea flavor and the soothing taste of vanilla. I came here for breakfast once, ordered the Mucho Burrito… It was pretty good! Poutine is tastey – had some off of one of my friend’s plates, good amount of curds on there. I would definitely recommend their yam fries to anyone. You can never go wrong with the yam fries straight up with or their regular poutines. I have yet to try their burgers out!
Pretty okay food but the lineup to get said food can sometimes turn me off of the place altogether. Usually just end up getting something there out of pure convenience, but I’m usually not disappointed.
No standard. Entire staff is lost, every time I order something and enjoy it I would order it again and find out it would taste completely different, their was also a problem with portion sizes sometimes you would get a huge amount of food, other times you won’t even be full.
Excellent. Not only the best place on campus for a bite, but one of the best in the city. I’ve traveled to many universities and tried their selection of campus cuisine and really there’s no contest; Degrees is the best. The Mr. Sparkle Burger is my favourite, while their French Toast with maple cream cheese always makes my mouth water. Also: the drink specials are very tasty, and a pint of local brew for $4.50 is nothing to ever turn down.
