I had the 2 koobideh platter and my boyfriend had a fatboy. The food is good and traditional middle eastern style, however lacked flavor in everything. A big bonus to the size of the koobideh as you just won’t find that anywhere else in the city. It comes with everything everyone else has posted and there are no options for anything else…a tabouleh salad, hummus, and garlic sauce would have been a huge bonus. I had to add a fair bit of sumac and salt and pepper for flavor and made the mistake of thinking I was using soya sauce for the rice instead it was balsamic vinegar (good thing I caught that) raw onion and green cocktail olives as a side. Would be nice if there was a second tomato. It is a good healthy meal with tender meat which I appreciate, just needs some garlic and parsley to add. My guy liked his fatboy burger but said he didn’t think the meat was a homemade patty. The owners are pleasant and all in all it was an ok experience for the contrast of our food preferences. Good value for the price but I’d probably stick to Sultans Shawarma or Best Pizza and Donair for my middle eastern food cravings.
