I have been here about 3 times. Dont get the sushi, too much rice and no flavour. I have learned the hard way. We ordered too much sushi and didnt end up eating it all because there was waaaay too much rice. This place is only worth the bbq, the sashimi and appetizers.
Came here for the first time. It was some pretty good food. The buffet is perfect, you can order as much as you want and leave full. The crab salad is amazing
This place is a really cool experience. The best part is the grilling of your food in the middle of the table. Its a fun, interactive experience. Their sushi is so-so. I always find the rolls not very well rolled. The breaded scallops are to die for!
Foods are reallllyyyy good. $25 eat all u can. $25 is worth it. 4.5 as my rate and not 5 because of small servings. I suggest that you order a lot of plate per dish.
First winnipeg BBQ and sushi all you can eat place! It’s very tasty when you ask for teriyaki sauce to grill your food with and for the sushi it’s just par. But for the price it’s a great spot for Winnipeg!
I love the idea of Korean BBQ! We need more of these restaurants in the city. IGI is an all-you-can-eat restaurant so if you do go, I would highly recommend to not order a massive portion for your first round because you will be charged for every single individual item that you are unable to finish. Try a bit of everything for your first round of order and then order more of what you enjoy the most! I would also recommend to not order sushi off the menu because the chef goes very heavy on the rice, hence, the sushi is extremely filling and not enjoyable.In contrast, I would highly recommend ordering the Sliced Pork off the raw meat menu. The sliced pork is delicious! Please note that a 10% of gratuity is automatically added to the bill at payment. Make sure you and your parties are aware of that. Overall, I would totally come back to IGI again! Perhaps just not on a weekend evening because the price is at its highest then.
Been the go to for birthdays and special occasions. The BBQ is awesome, tons of meat and veg choices. The ‘cook it yourself’ experience is something different from the normal restaurant trip. Tried the hot pot buffet last visit. I really enjoyed it as well. Lots of selection and really good broth.
