Came here for dinner with the family. They recently changed owners and went from Sichuan style cooking to Cantonese style cooking. For most people who like their food a bit more mild and prefers stir fries, Cantonese food is probably something you’d enjoy more.Thing is, with switching to Cantonese food, you are now facing a lot of competition. There’s easily 3-4 Cantonese style Chinese restaurants in the vicinity and they are all pretty decent. The restaurant is very large and quite clean. They also have a decent sized menu. There is a section of the restaurant that the previous owners used for a buffet. This is no longer an option and will likely be removed during the renovations.Food came quickly after putting in our orders. Items tasted very good. Definitely a worthy contender in the area. It’s not the best value amongst the pack of other restaurants nearby but rather more in the middle. I will definitely come back. Best part was, they included dessert.
Ordered Kung Pao chicken, BBQ pork, Ginger Beef, Lemon chicken and Mushroom fried rice. Kung Pao chicken was good but not spicy. And Ginger beef was okay as was lemon chicken. Rice and BBQ pork was excellent! Long menu of dishes so will try more next time. There are 2 menus floating around the website so best to order by name of dish!
