We arrived very close to closing time but they very gladly took us in and made food last minute for us. It tasted fresh, and really good! Attention is always good. I recommend this restaurant! One of our favourites 🙂
This is a small hidden gem at the Scurfield strip mall just beside DQ restaurant. Tried this place many times and never disappointed-either take out or dine in. We normally order the chicken balls, mixed vegetables, sweet sour pork and the big fat noodles and allgood, tasty and delicious. Nice friendly staff and service. Recommended.

Take-out was horrible!!!. Barely any meat in the ginger beef and chicken in honey garlic sauce. Both dishes were very chewy and stringy (likely over deep fried) – barely edible…if it wasn’t so cold out, we would have definitely returned the food. On a positive note, the hot and sour soup was acceptable and flavorful.
Pretty consistent and tasty. I order from South Ocean quite regularly. The dishes are normally very tasty. The portions are a fair size, there is a large variety to choose from, and the food comes out quite quickly.
Great takeout. Introduced to this restaurant by a friend , never had chicken balls like this. Mostly meat and huge. Everything tasted great not greasy. Changed where I do takeout. New favourite
Worst service, food is bad too. Went for lunch there at 12nn, place was not too busy and were seated at the far end of table. Waitress got our order 10min. after, not too bad we thought. 2 other table were filled up we noticed. Waited for another 30min. until we were served water! We already started looking uneasy when the waitress served the other table their food and she told us ours was coming, blah blah. etc. We should have been served first even if we ordered from the menu and not the lunch menu as order is based on priority orders! My friend walked away as we haven’t been served and its almost 12:55nn and we only have 1hr. lunch break. Totally pissed off! she served as only 2 of our orders after and we told her we are cancelling the fried rice and tofu. I cant believe how they cook our 2 tofu orders and stir fried chicken and fried rice that long!!! Honestly, the food wasn’t great too. I am not going back.
