Summer palace recently got new owners. Food was decent in the past and there was an emphasis on Cantonese food. Now, the menu is all over the place. There are Szechuan items, Nanjing items and also a few Cantonese items. The worst part about it, none of the items are particularly good.There was a review a few months back in the Free Press that gave this place a glowing review. Dont get me wrong, the service was attentive and the portions sizes reasonable, but food was under seasoned and not well cooked. The buffet is a bit better, and I would say worth it if youre in the area, but their menu needs some work!
