The worst experience I had in a long time. Please do not waste your time and money there. We were regulars there years ago but things have changed a lot with the new owners. The first thing I noticed when we walked in was how dirty it is. Floor is dirty and run down, menu was sticky and oily, and the table was also sticky and oily despite just being wiped. I felt like I needed a shower after leaving. I didn’t use the washroom there but I can only imagine what it would be like if the dining room was that dirty. The crispy chicken was dry and the fried rice was below standard. Also we had to wait a very long time for our 3rd dish to come out. Our kids were just about finished eating by the time we got our 3rd dish. When we were finished I tried flagging the waiter down and he looked at me as if he was too good to be serving me and then he walked away. We did make eye contact so I waited for him to come back but that never happened. So I flagged the waitress down and asked what happened to the waiter. She said he was probably in the back making bubble tea. I will never go there again. I would only recommend that place to my worst enemy.

I love the food here! It all comes out hot and fresh. Favourite dish is the sweet and sour veal. I hate it when all the dishes taste the same. That does not happen here! All the food has its own unique, wonderful flavour. All the meat is tender. The portions are large and I think the price is fair. I will be going back! The restaurant is clean with a nice atmosphere.

Nice place, I like the ambiance, staff is friendly and service was quick, their food was not the best but was okay. I thought cost was $$ and not $.

Came here on May 13th after trying another Chinese restaurant in Garden City, and finding the service therevery, very slow. We didn’t wait to find out if we would ever be served. The Winter Garden Restaurant is very nice inside, and they seated us and brought water right away. We ordered Dry Wonton with S&S Sauce, Fried Ginger Beef, Lemon Chicken, Szechuan Shrimps, Sauted Mixed Veggies, and Vermicelli w/ Sprouts, Shrimp & BBQ Pork and steamed rice. All in all, it was very good, served at temperature, and the servings were generous. We’d never been here before, but had wondered about it many times. It has a very nice atmosphere, and there were several tables of Asians . . . always a good sign in a Chinese restaurant. We had plenty of leftovers, but that was our plan. . . . who doesn’t love leftover Chinese food? We will probably be back, because it is close to home, good quality, and the servers were very attentive and friendly. I’d recommend it.

Quality of food has really gone down since they changed owners. We were regulars here and have moved on. This also used to be a place we could go to late night after having a couple drinks but they changed their hours and I can’t get my duck soup fix.

You can find better food in a dumpster. The cantonese chow mein was dry,the noodles were hard and very little meat.I added beef broth did not help.Do not order here we work to hard to throw our money in the garbage.

It’s a dirty little hole in the wall but the food is always yummy! We usually order take out. We ordered on valentine’s day and there was an hour wait. When I went to pick up our food at 530 like I was told our food was sitting on the table at the front. It was cold! Brought it home to eat right away but when I opened my chicken chow mein it wasn’t that at all. It was covered with shrimp and pork, two things I don’t eat. I called and they offered to fix it but there would be a wait and I didn’t feel like going back out so they offered delivery but it would be 1.5 hours. Ummmmmm no thanks. My kids were too hungry to wait. They gave me a credit for next time. Regardless of this one bad experience I still love it there!
