I could wait to try this place out.I should of waited.Husband had cheese burger poutine, that to me looked like one big deep fried brick.Unappealing to me, but he enjoyed it.I ordered chicken wrap and French onion soup. All the soup tasted like was hot salt water. The chicken wraps I enjoy better at Tim Hortons. Don’t think we will go again
Heard about the large menu of poutine and wanted to check it out. The poutine menu is quite extensive and they have all sorts of combination toppings. Tried the Blackened Steak and Parmesan Cheese Poutine – the sauce was quite delicious, but otherwise nothing standout compared to other poutine I’ve had….
The staff was amazing. No joke. Super friendly and probably one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long while. I can’t vouch for the entire menu since I am a visitor and have only had one meal but the wings and riblets I did have were delicious. It’s certainly worth checking out especially if a good sports game is on the TV.
Small place, cozy, but fun! The menu is extensive and full of choices and the poutine is a work of art – some of the guests took pictures of it. Fun environment, great wait staff, love the Trivial Pursuit cards at the table. Only issue is that my beverage order got mixed up, but I’m not one to complain, and it forced me to try something new (which I actually really liked)!
This was my second time eating here, came here right before the Wheat Kings playoff game. It was surprisingly dead for a game night. We had the root beer barbeque wings to start, did not taste the root beer at all, just good old barbeque sauce. Not very good. And for $13, you only get like 8 small wings. Definitely not worth the money. I ordered the Friday special which was fish & chips and my boyfriend had the ‘Rob Ford’ burger. The fish was mostly batter and was not very good. The burger was decent, but the side Caesar salad was drowned in dressing. Overall, food quality was mediocre.
Poutine came out cold and the server could care less . Great concept but service and food was terrible .
Best Wedding Pig Roast!. Dan and Joe Beeverz catered our wedding in September 2014. They served a pig roast with all the fixings. The baked potato casserole was a smash hit. Even our vegetarian relatives had lots to eat with the amazing baked beans, corn on the cob, green salad, and veggie kebabs. We had lots of guest tell us they had never eaten a better wedding meal. The planning and service were impeccable. We highly recommend them for anyone needing an event catered in the Brandon area.
