Top 10 Desserts and Bistro is located next to Sun Fortune. It’s a small shop that offers desserts, bubble tea, Taiwanese meals and snacks, and from looking at the photos above, it seems they have also added hotpots to their menu.The seating here is limited, with only 3 or 4 tables. I have tried the tian bu la, Taiwanese sausage, Taiwanese popcorn chicken with fries and sweet potato fries, Taiwanese fried pork chop rice, and Taiwanese braised minced pork rice, as well as their Calpico (Japanese uncarbonated soft drink) flavoured bubble teas.I would definitely recommend trying out their Calpico flavoured bubble teas and popcorn chicken. However, the tian bu la and Taiwanese sausage were just so-so, and the rice dishes were not good at all. The fried pork chop was pounded very thin and then deep fried. Imagine it being like the texture of jerky, which is not very pleasant, unless it’s supposed to be jerky. The rice itself is also horrible. I could tell that the rice was heated in the microwave, because the rice was still somewhat cold, clumped together and a bit mushy.

Desert sensations. This is perhaps my favourite Winnipeg restaurant especially when I am hankering for a burger. Their Dijon cream cheese burger is heavenly and when supplemented with their house fries ( half sweetpotatoe, half Yukon gold) it is only notches up the perfection. They also make a heck of a salad and an interesting pulled porl sandwich with fried,crispy leeks! The service is delightful and their deserts ( which I think are suppose to be the star of the show) are wonderful. Try the cupcakes in particular- they make a great butter icing.
