HelloFirst of all this restaurant has a rating of 9.4 at the SkipTheDishes portal !!!! .my viewpoint on that is never trust the SkipTheDishes ratings whatsoever.when I was about to order yesterday on SkipTheDishes, my wife suddenly mentioned we ordered few months back & food was a disaster! Since the ratings improved on the SkipTheDishes, we thought we will try again, so got another disaster. All the curries are made with same curry base, shrimp replaces chicken in chicken curry!!! Everything tastes same, parathas seemed really hard , nothing to tell more, dont trust SkipTheDishes ratings, their ratings dont do justice!!!
I love indian food but, this place is the Worst east India food in winnipeg !!!! Skip this place and go somewhere else. Unless you enjoy bad service and taste less cold food
Visited this resto to try their lunch buffet. GRIMEY AF. Cleanliness is in negatives. I could tell that the butter chicken and samosas were their popular dishes because the quantities were so low and they didn’t even bother to replenish. Nothing stood out to me except the fact I will never return here.
Staff were friendly and attentive! We ordered off their menu and our food took 15-20 minutes. It was fresh and spices were great!! The goat cheese in the paneer was amazing!
Came here to pickup samosas for a family gathering. Could have called before but didn’t mind the wait as I was sitting for only 10 minutes. Hot and fresh. Spiced perfectly. One of my favourite samosas in Winnipeg. Will be back.
Went to this restaurant for Mothers Day and it was a terrible experience. We were not greeted or acknowledged when we entered the restaurant and after seating ourselves, we decided to try out the buffet, since we were already inside the restaurant. The buffet items were lukewarm at best, and looked like they had been sitting inside the trays all morning, there was no flavour in any of the dishes, it was as though the chef decided to dump heavy cream and food colouring and call it a day. To make matters worse, there was no rice in the buffet and when told to replenish the rice, we were told it would be done, we waited around 20 minutes and still no rice. Not once were we approached by any ofthe servers to ask how everything was or if we needed anything, and when weasked for the bill, we were approached by a rude server asking what we needed in a rude manner. Waste of money! spend your hard earned cash at another restaurant.
Ordered butter chicken for take out and it was terrible. The chicken was full of bones and gristle and was practically not edible. It was also very expensive. To top it off I found the server to be unpleasant. I won’t be back.
