Sugar blooms filled me up with their Filipino breakfast. Consisted of rice, two eggs (any way you liked..), some cucumbers, tocino (pork sausage) which was glazed and caramelized in sweet yumminess, some pickled salad (I think it was butternut squash with some peppers and such, as well as a vinaigrette to top the food off to your liking. I didn’t go for the fish because I just ain’t a fish in the morning kinda person. That’s just me. All in all, the food was tasty, portion size was large and the price was fair. I didn’t eat until dinner time, if that tells you anything! Atmosphere was nice, service was quick but not TOO quick. I suggest giving it a try… never know, you might decide to buy some dessert or macarons after.
A co-worker of mine brought one of the Ube Macapuno cakes which was delicious! we called and reserve one small round cake. we have tried the mocca cake with caramel rocks, very good desserts! make sure you call and reserve because they tend to run out quickly! they do custom cakes which is a bit pricey but its a competition and they have to pay their workers too! other than that cakes are good!
