Food was good but very slow coming out. We were there for 90 minutes for breakfast. We waited close to an hour. I was also disappointed at the limited veggie options. I had to order an omelette and ask them not to include the meat. They didn’t have a build your own or veggie option. It’s not a huge inconvenience but I hate paying for something that I’m not getting. A mushroom and cheese omelette would not be the same as a veggie & meat filled one.
Bromley’s, the once semi-popular, decent Parry’s Restaurant, has gone down the drain since the management has been changed. My family and I used to come here and at least get good food for what we were paying, especially when the Sunday brunch buffet was much larger and had more options. Now they don’t even do it anymore! The service was terrible. We were seated promptly and ordered our coffee and the kids their juice, but after waiting for about 30 minutes while watching other people who came in after us get served their drinks and their orders taken, I asked one of the girls why we haven’t had our order taken yet, she snapped at me and told me that it was a very busy Saturday and she was busy getting drinks for this table and doing this for this table. In my opinion this is NO way anyone should carry out customer service. Having been in the industry myself I know how difficult it can be to keep your sh*t together at those rush times, but its disrespectful to ME as a customer. There’s no business without the customer. Not that’d I’d normally critique on things such as spelling and grammar on a menu, but with the amount of spelling and grammar mistakes on the Bromley’s menu, it just looks unprofessional. Now, I normally give places a pretty good chance before I blacklist them forever. I came back to the Nor-Villa hotel on one of their infamous Wednesday Wing Nights, hoping to get a pretty good deal. Well, as much of a good deal as it sounds like (buy a drink, get 10 wings for 99 cents) its not worth the little to begin with. It was a pretty average Wednesday in my opinion, not crazy busy but it wasn’t empty by any means. I was sitting at a table in the larger part of the bar, ordered my drink and wings from one of the bar servers. I received my drink right away. The atmosphere was okay, nothing special, average hotel bar. Being by myself, I caught myself watching for my wings to be brought to my table. I saw someone, presumably a cook, drop off some baskets on a tray to the end of the bar. I was pretty excited to try these wings as I actually have heard good things about them. As I waited, I watched the bar server and the bar tender continue chatting for about 10 minutes before they even bothered to notice the wings sitting on the bar. She brought them over once she noticed, but once I received them they were getting cold and gummy and just gross. I believe they would’ve been good, but once again, the service interferes with the quality of the food.Overall, Bromley’s food isn’t bad quality for the price, but considering the staff being uninterested/talking about customers in earshot of them, the menu always needing to be clarified for fact of spelling and grammar mistakes, servers always having to check with the manager about things they should know and just the overall horrendous way this place is run (and yes, when you’ve been in the industry you can tell when a place doesn’t have its sh*t together), myself and anyone I tell about this place won’t be back.
Absolutely terrible!!When this place was Parrys it was really quite good, good food, good service, good menu. The new owners have destroyed it. First of all they cut down the light menu to barely anything. It used to have about 12 different items now it has 4 or 5.The food was terrible, I ordered shaved beef with au jus. What I got was a plate of beef fat covered in congealed gravy. The sour cream for the baked potato was rotten, as was the piece of cake which had been obviously sitting out on the counter all day until the whip cream turned sour. I left feeling very hungry since the only thing I got to eat was a tiny salad and a dinner roll. The service was incredibly bad. The girl had absolutely no interest in doing her job and seemed annoyed every time we asked for something. She was ridiculously slow considering we were the only table in the place. She also didn’t seem to know the menu and instead of apologizing or offering to check with the manager, she kept making things up saying items were no longer included in the meal, even though they were clearly stated (and spelled wrong) on the menu. Even after we called her out on not including something in the meal she managed to ‘forget’ it for another person at our table. We even overheard the other waitress talking about how she didn’t want to be there anymore it has gotten so bad.As well we overheard the waitresses talking very loudly in the back about how they had never seen such ignorant people, we could only assume they were talking about us since we were the only table, to which we felt was ridiculous since all we had done was asked for the most basic things since they weren’t offered, cream for the coffee, take out containers, dinner rolls included in the menu ect.We used to go to Parrys quite frequently, however since it has changed owners, we will not be going back ever.
Amazing food with service to match. My husband and I went to Parry’s for our weekly date night. Having Celiac Disease makes finding amazing food a bit of a challenge, but I was blown away by the food I was served. Not only did Chef Thomas come speak with me about different options, he made it a point to create a special entre. I haven’t had a meal so delicious in years. I can’t thank Chef Thomas enough! My husband had the Parry’s Ultimate burger and he, too, said he was blown away by the quality and flavour of his meal. As for the service, Natassia was down-to-earth, attentive and friendly. We highly recommend this dining service and plan on taking our family members there.

Best place in town!. Best breakfast. get the Ukrainian breakfast if you’re hungry.
Washrooms are disgusting. Foods good, but you think there would be a requirement to clean the washroom once in awhile at a food establishment.
