Good service from wonderful woman behind the counter. Went late evening after being in Kilcona park as this was on way home. I had a simple vanilla soft serve in waffle cone with chocolate dip on top, Jess had parfait.
Poor customer service. Rude owner. Cheap. The cashiers do not tell you what you’re paying for. I was wrongly charged for excess slurpeee left in the tray. Disrespectful. I do not recommend. Waste of time. Waste of space. They’re lucky 1.0 is the lowest I can rate.
The Owner. The man who seems to be the owner is rude. Doesn’t care for your business and doesn’t seem to realize it is the customer that makes him money. He is unpleasant. Good ice cream at decent prices but will not go back.
No customer bathroom. When you come, don’t come with a full bladder.
Don’t count on product knowledge!. Being new to the neighbourhood, I called Cool Encounters to find out if they have any gluten-free ice cream. To my surprise, the owner did not know nor did he care to find out. I am glad that his business is doing so well that he is able to turn away new business so quickly. Good Luck Cool Encounters!
Sooo good!. Best ice cream, softserve or hard. Waffle cones are hand made in-store. Hot Fudge Sundae can’t be beat. Store is exceptionally clean and well run. Staff are friendly and attentive. They always go out of their way to accomodate a customer.
